Water-proof is a relative term.Is silicon water proof? Yes. In that it does not absorb water.This ‘waterproof’ holder is not waterproof, as there’s a 1” hole in the back.So, while so far, it’s keeping the thing on my dogs collar, and it looks kinda cool, three stars for bs advertising.NOT WATERPROOF

Works amazing! I was a little worried there was a chance the air tag inside could fall off but the product was designed super well to hold it tight. Highly recommend.

The holder came timely. Initially I was concerned that the holder might be wimpy and perhaps break easily because it is made of silicone. This is not the case however.My dog's collar is 1 1/4" wide, slightly larger than the recommended 1" wide, so it was a bit difficult to get the holder onto the collar (hence the 3 star rating for "Easy to Install"). On the other hand, the holder tolerated the pulling, tugging, and stretching without a problem. This is how I know it will hold up for the long run.Regarding "Water Resistance", I gave this a "4" star rating because like other holders for dog collars, the back is open in order to insert the Airtag. So the Airtag is protected by silicone facing outward, while the back is protected by the collar, but is open and is NOT water resistant. I feel that the case will give good water resistance if, say, it started raining while the dog is outside, but it will NOT protect the Airtag if the dog gets submerged.Overall, this is an excellent product that is worth the money I spent on it.

This will be the first ever amazon review for me, but i feel it’s important.I don't recommend this product or any like it. I purchased it for my 4 month old doggo thinking its a great thing to have just in case she somehow went on a stroll alone.After a few weeks of the pup being active and running around, being in the sun, ect, the material becomes slightly looser.My air tag eventually fell out and the dog ate it. Eventually I realized what had happened and could hear it beeping in her tummy when i used the “find my” feature on my phone.These air tags are made of lithium batteries. Extremely dangerous if swallowed.Luck was on our side and with the aid of some vomit inducer, she vomited it up.In worse circumstances this could kill your pet.I am not blaming the product necessarily, as i should have seen this as a possibility from the start.The best bet would be to keep air tags away from your animals all together.

We had this on the collar of our small dog for just four days before it was dangling from one side due to the fastener loop tearing apart. Our dog did not scuffle or play with any other dogs in that time, so it had to be fairly ordinary wear and tear that caused the tear. Overall, this does not seem durable enough to withstand daily wear by a dog.
