The loops have unexpectedly unhooked, resulting me in losing a key or two! I think the next key case I get, will have a zipper built into it.

I love this case. I needed an 8 key case because I like to keep money in the space behind the keys. The left pouch easily holds 5 of my cards. The right pooch is grease or another are or two and for keeping my insurance card. I especially like the two snaps because depending upon the amount of money or cards, having a two closing sizes is handy. Finally the key hooks are nice to use. I keep my small and regular keys inside and use two hooks to keep the bigger car and house keep on the outside. My previous one lasted 20 years (unknown brand) and even though it was falling apartment I didn't want to get rid of it. Every case I found only cane with 6 key hooks and that is not wide enough for my purpose, but when I found this 8 hook one, I gave it a try; and I couldn't be happier.

8 hook key cases are a bit hard to find any more. This one is made of very nice soft leather and has small pockets under each flap, but with a large wad of keys, the pockets are not very useful. The case comes with a ring at the bottom of the hook area, and when a single key is placed on the ring, there is little room if the upper hooks are all used. The other problem with the ring is that it stops the key from turning, thus compelling that the whole case be turned to turn the key. I finally abandoned using the bottom ring. The hooks are very well designed and allow easy mounting of even the biggest of keys. All have good quality swivels and allow easy use and management of the keys. All in all a very nice case except the lack of utility of the bottom ring.

got the wrong caseordered the folding case got the ZIPPERED case instead!that is why it is 4 starsnice quality case though!

This key wallet does a great job of keeping the keys dry and out of the way.

I have had similar key cases for years (miss you Rolf). While the key rack (the thing that holds the keys) is the same size as previous key cases, the leather outside is 1 5/8 in smaller. This means that when you get your keys in and close the snap it is much thicker. With two of the modern key/fob car keys and a few regular keys the wad is 1 3/8 in thick. That is 3/8 to 1/2 in thicker than my previous case because it spread the keys out. I think I will send it back. I hope we get away from the key/fob car keys soon and on to the next technology - like maybe RFID.On the positive side, if you don't mind carrying a tennis ball in your pocket: The leather is nice, and the key holders are very well made. In all it is a very nice looking key case. If you don't have one of the modern key/fob car keys, I am sure it would work just fine.

I've been spoiled by over 30 years of ROLFS key cases, unfortunately they are out of business. As this seems to be the only 8-hook key case on the market, not much choice. Not sure whether I'll actually use it when my last ROLFS wears out. Buxton also used to have a pretty good system though not as good as ROLFS but they have gotten out of the key case business; used them for at least 20 years before discovering ROLFS.
