I purchased this yarn to make a scarf . The quality is beautiful. The yarn is not thin and flimsy. It's very soft and luxurious. I would definitely buy it again.

I made a hat and scarf from one order of this yarn (both for a larger guy, me), just to give you a sense of the volume of yarn included. It was easy to work with, although it was a bit "fuzzier" than I expected; however, it was my first project with Alpaca. The hat feels great, and it's wonderfully warm. The scarf is super warm, and only slightly itchy when I wear it. It is not as scratchy as regular wool nor some other alpaca wool, so definitely an improvement, but certainly not Scratch-Free. I have tried some other 100% Alpaca yarn and found it a bit finer and less scratchy, but it doesn't have the range of color options. Overall, I really like the yarn for making something extra special for yourself or as a gift.

I love to wear a sweater I just finished. It’s soft and not itchy s as t all. I could wear it on bear skin. Only problem with the yarn - it sheds! It sheds like my dog! I hope, after I wash the sweater for several times it will stop shedding.

And soooo soft!I've never knitted with 100% alpaca before and I absolutely love this yarn.I love the GORGEOUS Orange Heather color. It's just perfect for a pop of color during our dreary winters.The stitch definition is great and it's very easy to knit with, zero splitting. I just started a seed stitch scarf and am only partly through my first ball, but so far, I haven't come across any splices that I know of.After I finished my scarf, I am planning on knitting a hat and cannot wait to wear them both.I will definitely be back for more of this yarn. 👍👍

The amount of yarn is very small compared to the price. I would not order again as I think I could find better value elsewhere.

This yarn is amazing. I have fiber sensitivity and allergies so finding yarn that isn’t an acrylic or wool blend is next to impossible. This yarn is beautiful and vibrant and sooooo soft to the touch! I can’t wait to start a new crochet project with it next week on vacation.
