This vocabulary book is great. It’s fun and colourful which keeps the kids engaged. It’s educational and explains everything in a simple way which is ideal. Good quality book not cheap material.

A learning tool full of activities makingmit a little more fun and challenging for roughly 11 year olds. Theres a variety of vocabulary learning tasks to complete which are laid out in a big print and spacious within the book. Probably couldbe done with a few more and bulking the book out a little more.

These work books cover a variety of subjects have a peek at pic 3 to see what sort of words are covered. There are a variety of vocab building activities to complete, I've shown a couple of sample pages and there are fun puzzles to complete at the end of the sections, as well as smilie face self assessments. There are answers at the back of the book. Children can work through at their own pace. It is surprising how a little extra work at home can really help bring them on. My mum did 1 hour on a Sunday with all three of us for two years and we all ended up with degrees (first in our families) and professional jobs. It's not about money, it's about time. If you know that English and their vocab is a weak point these books will be easy for you to use.Great for giving them a bit of extra help at home.

My son is currently studying for his 11+ in September. He currently attends tuition once a week and completes homework set by them on the computer. So this is handy when I am trying to reduce his screen time and try new ways of keeping him interested.Only so many ways he can think of different words for the same thing!I thought the exercises set out in this book were well thought out and help to keep him engaged and interested. I have to say some of the words had me stumped!Very impressed for the price. We need to get our kids learning more and this is a great help!

Ordered for my great nephews, who are fixated with learning.I have the pleasure of two great nephews who love nothing better than to learn, one is particularly obsessed with math as well as other subjects, the other loves to learn but is a little behind his brother.As I babysit quite often I ordered this book in order to help with their willingness to learn but also to support my second great nephew.Both boys love this book and enjoyed the activities, will happily order more from this range.Full marks from the boys and me 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Price is great value.

This is one of a series of educational books for primary aged children. The Vocabulary Activity Book is designed for 9-10 year olds and is packed with lots of interesting and fun ideas.It is well illustrated and attractive and many of the activities are quite challenging. I am not sure I would have known the meaning of some of these words when I was 9 or 10! (Eloquent? Functional? Contemporary?) The book offers lots of opportunities for discussion about the words and their meaning.Recommended.

A lovely week out together resource for building children's vocabulary. Lots of nice puzzles and activities and a great range of themes which are great at capturing their imagination. My 9yr old really enjoys completing it and her younger siblings have been keen to participate too. CGP are really good at producing really enticing well thought out books which are well written and develop skills incrementally in a fun and colourful way. Highly recommended resource for giving kids confidence with their English skills. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
