Derma EAnti-Aging Regenerative Night Cream – Firming Astaxanthin Moisturizer For Face – Lightweight Overnight Anti-Wrinkle Cream With Jojoba Oil And Vitamin E, 2 oz

Since we are all individuals, what might be great for me might not be so great for you, so I will describe my skin. I'm in my late-thirties, and I have sensitive, pale olive combination skin with mild rosacea on the apples of my cheeks that can flare up. I have an oily T-zone and very dry cheeks, with a couple of fine lines around my eyes. I've used anti-aging products since my early twenties to reverse sun damage from a childhood spent on a tropical island, but with rosacea, some of my former favorites are no longer an option for me.This was my first Derma-e product ever. I bought it during a particularly virulent flare-up of rosacea that left me with raised, flaming red patches of stinging skin on both of my cheeks. I went to the dermatologist first, but since I have the kind of rosacea with no bumps or acne, she told me that she couldn't recommend any of the creams available as they would not help me. I went home and scoured the online forums for any over the counter product that could (quickly) help, since I work in customer service and didn't want to frighten anybody with my blotchy, tomato-red face. Somebody recommended this, and I bought it in sheer desperation, along with some other products from Derma-e.I noticed that my skin calmed down/cooled almost instantly when I applied Age-Defying Night Crème with Astaxanthin and Pycnogenol. I took the jar to work and reapplied whenever I felt my face growing hot. By evening, I noticed a significant improvement (the red patches were no longer raised), so I continued my treatment. By the fifth evening, my skin had returned to normal. I was delighted and continued using the cream, both as a preventative measure for my rosacea and also because I loved how smooth and baby-faced it made the rest of my skin look. I used the entire jar but didn't immediately reorder, since I had also bought a jar of Derma-e's Hyaluronic Acid Night Cream, which worked well in the absence of flaring rosacea.Recently, my son was teething and had a constant river of drool irritating his chin and chest. None of the usual things helped, and he had started picking at his face, leaving bleeding spots and scratches. To my horror, the spots became full-blown eczema that spread all over his face and chest, leaving him constantly scratching and looking worse by the hour. I do not really want to use steroid creams on him, barring an emergency situation, so once again, I scoured my online forums for help. I was surprised to read that another mother had very successfully used this same cream on her 6-year old daughter's severe eczema. I immediately placed an order through Amazon Prime and had a new jar the following day.We put the cream on my son while he slept, as he wipes anything that we try to apply right off. By the third day, the red, irritated skin in between the spots he had was back to its usual smooth whiteness, and he was no longer scratching. By the end of the week, most of his spots were gone. We plastered him with the cream from head to toe after each bath for two weeks, going through two jars of the product, as he had very dry spots on his back and legs that he was starting to scratch and irritate. By the end of those two weeks, he had smooth, perfect skin with no scarring or any other sign of the problems that he had. I giggled at using Age-Defying Night Creme on a two-year old, but the results spoke for themselves.This product is now a permanent staple in my medicine cabinet, and I've been using it regularly for about a year. As for the Age-Defying aspect, I've found that it seems to plump my skin up and minimize my fine lines. They are still there, but you really have to look closely to see them. My skin is now far more even than formerly, with no dry, flaky patches. I still have rosacea, but it is controlled to the point that I look rosy-cheeked and healthy, not red and irritated.I've also tried the Day Crème but feel that the Night Crème has a stronger positive effect on me. I've been tempted to try other products in the Derma-e family, but this one has been so successful for my son and for me that for now, I will stay with what works. By the way, the creme is orange and has a fruity/carroty smell that doesn't seem to bother me at all, despite my trouble with fragrance. I don't know what makes it orange, but that seems to be what makes it work. I had a little left in the bottom of an old jar and peeked at it before I tossed it out...and the creme had turned white. The Day Creme is also a lot less orange (and seem less effective.)Thank you very much for reading my review!

I have been waiting to write a review. Although the cream is thick, I only need to use it sparingly, which saved me $$. My wrinkles are quite reduced after several months use. I am very pleased there has been no allergic reaction. I was very dubious as to whether it could help the wrinkles above my upper lip but it has almost erased the wrinkles there. Works better than creams twice the price. I had also used Retin A in the past and this worked better; you can imagine my surprise.Excellent product.

Gives the skin a refreshingly, dewy appearance without any heaviness, greasiness, or tackiness, or overwhelming fragrance

I've used this product for several years. I think it does a good job of moisturizing my skin.I've asked Amazon customer service people to tell the manufacturer to seal the box that this cream comes in so the consumer knows it hasn't been tampered with.Also, the box it came in was pretty mangled, I'm guessing from the shipping process. The shipped it in a bag which doesn't protect the box very well.

Great for people with chemical sensitivity

At first I had my doubts because it doesn’t glide smoothly onto the skin like the Derma E Vitamin C Intense Night Cream. After a couple of days of use I can see the improvement in my skin. It definitely makes my skin look very fresh, glowy, and renewed. Love it!

Goes on nice and smooth, not sticky. Good moisturizer

The media could not be loaded. As you can see by the picture, this was almost 1/2 empty. The box had this barcode sealed over the top but not glass container did not so I’m not sure if this was a return. Unfortunately I ordered 2 boxes and same scenario with the 2nd item. I would’ve loved to try them but maybe if I buy it directly from the DermaE store.
