Finally I found this rice cooker just the size I needed. Black is nice, does not boil over like other rice cookers. Smooth nonstick. Dishwasher safe.

Average rice cooker
I finally retired my rice cooker of 15 years, but this one came with a slightly bent bowl and instead of sending it back, we were able to bend it back into shape, but even after that, using the correct amount of water, the rice still comes out much too firm. We are trying to get the measurements right and next time I’ll try putting a towel over it maybe too much steam is escaping. So far I miss my old steamer even though I had to tape it closed.
