U use these after primary wine fermentation in a plastic food-safe bucket. These are wonder for small batches or even for 3 gallon batches spread into several gallon carboys. They are very thick and sturdy! (And they don’t weigh a ton like a 3-gallon carboy filled with wine!!)

It’s a good set, it is not a complete beginners set, but both jugs have withstood a ridiculous amount of abuse and show no signs of wear

I got these 1 gallon glass fermentations to brew wine from fresh grapes. Have worked well. I like that each jug comes with two choices for airlocks, a bung and a cap for the bottle.

This is a wonderful kit for my little mead making adventure.It came well packaged and nothing broken that I'm currently aware of.It is missing one black cap.Other than that it looks as if the rest of the kit is intact.I haven't used this kit yet, but presume it will work fine when I'm ready to rack.
