Snappy little number
Great little car cam, and I purchased it for only £30! It's small (pictured next to a one pound coin for scale), sitting behind the rear view mirror very nicely. It also has no annoying, too-small-anyway viewing screen, and it syncs up to your mobile very easily. It comes very smartly packaged, and with an extra set of windscreen stickers too for future use etc. Whilst the app is basic enough it does the job. Very pleased with the value of this and fully recommend.

Decent dashcam with no distracting screen
The media could not be loaded. I opted for this dashcam as it had no distracting screen, it is very compact, discrete and easy to hide away behind the rear-view mirror. It was also supplied with a long cable, clips and a tool to assist in hiding the cable along the headlining. The app is simple and basic. Picture quality is acceptable for the price.

Great little dashcam!!
Bought this as a rear-facing camera. No screen and compact size are ideal. Easy to install, the “OKCAR” app works fine however it takes a few attempts to connect to the camera. The picture quality seems very good. Will check the video out later especially the nighttime video. So far I am happy with the purchase.

Seemed great until I needed it.
This camera seemed grey. Chosen because of the minimal form factor and price, all seemed good. Then one day my wife met an angry motorcyclist who scared her and my child and punched our wing mirror. I went to get the footage from the camera and discovered it had stopped recording. I then looked back and just about every 8th video was 0bytes. Empty files, no footage. What use is a camera if it doesn’t record everything? I’ve ordered another camera from a different manufacturer and spent a bit more. Don’t cheap out on a camera because you never know when you’ll need it.

If you're having trouble connecting...
If you're having trouble connecting to phone, it's not the product. It's your phone. Wouldn't connect on my main phone. Used my spare phone and it worked. Just down to software really. Also it doesn't need to be connected to said phone in order to work. Just for initial set up purposes. I put my spare phone back away in the draw and now my camera starts recording each time I turn the car on. Excellent product.

You Get What You Pay For
Of course, Chinese cheap product.Certainly CERTAINLY isn’t 1080p, more like 480 at 24frames. Number plates can only be readable from about 5-7 meters.Angle will just about cover the windscreen (assuming you’re attaching it to the windscreen)The app they ask you to download is TERRIBLE, it’s called ‘OKCAR’ and crashes often, 3 mins of footage requires EXCLUSIVE connection between the camera and your phone, so while you’re downloading footage, you have no connection to 4g or your wifi.. don’t move the camera as it’ll randomly start recording and you’ll have to wait another 4 mins to download your 480p footage(Yes, I’ve downloaded on different devices and yep, I’ve gone through the ‘settings’ and the quality is as good as it gets, being there’s only one option.Audio is terrible. For the money though, it does actually record, which is what you want.I should have just paid the extra 50 quid or so to buy a proper established brandBe aware, this is a cigarette lighter powered camera, not USB. It requires a Mini-USB connector to work, it has enough power to SAVE footage of the cable is pulled out. Also, you need to format your SD card to whatever the camera likes, so you plug it into a brand new Mac and it doesn’t recognise the card…Anyway, but at your own discretion, but I’d recommend paying the extra and buying a proper one.Remember those 2010 sliding phones with the 3megapixel cameras, yeah it’s like that. And the app was obviously developed very very quickly, crashes a lot and you will only salvage your footage if you have a great memory as there are no time stamps when previewing video, you MUST wait 4 mins to download a video (bear in mind it’ll crash once or twice) to determine the time and date
