I've purchased several of these type meters. This one was different in a good way. First, IN THE BOX, it arrived with a single page, color diagram showing how to connect the meter, how to reset the meter and how to interpret the current (when neg flow). The text was in good sentences. The opening was large enough to pass over a 1/0 wire AND the lug. Out of the box, the current reading and voltage reading agreed with my calibrated meter. I'm using it on a 48V solar system to track inverter charge current and battery voltage (independent of the inverter) and its working great. No need for a separate 12V supply, it works directly off the range of voltage (45V to 58V).

Accurate and easy to install, just hook it to your battery and run your hot cable through the sensor. I use it on my motorcycle and it clearly shows my voltage and draw/charging status. Went a little bonkers when I drove through a downpour but started working again once it dried out. If you have any questions about your charging system get this meter!

Need to be really good at stripping insulation off VERY small wires. it works really good and accurate. Also soldering the tiny wires is a chore, but can be done.

Amazing device. I bought one to test, then bought six more. I attached one per battery in my battery bank so I can easily tell if a terminal fuse is blown and I can see if the amp pull from each battery shows the bank is balanced. I was expecting the accuracy to be just ok, but I was wrong. It is almost perfect. Every battery shows the same voltage value - which they should since they are interconnected, but that shows each device is calibrated correctly at the factory. The current readings are close to what my Victron BMV reports. It's hard to find a device like this that works for DC and up to 100 amps. I'm going to buy an eight to show the current being pulled from the alternator. Build quality is excellent. The devices look nice and they include an extension for the current clamp. I just wish there was a circular version that fit in the standard 1" hole.

Only had it installed for a day now on my lawnmower to find out why my battery is always dead. Very easy to install and wire. I had to reverse the amp pickup on the battery cable, it was showing negative amps, the marking on the pickup was marked wrong. Not a big deal. It works very well. The red volt display is a little hard to read but I'm sure it wasn't designed to be used outside in bright sunlight.

It works exactly as stated, readings are accurate enough. Digits are bright and easily readable at six feet.

I’m using it to monitor 12v battery, voltage is as my fluke meter +/- 50mV. My load is often around 0 to 7A, amp is as my fluke meter +/- 100mA
