The Big Book of Small Home Plans: Over 360 Home Plans Under 1200 Square Feet

This is a very informative book & heavy detailed book. The illustrations are excellent. Great little book for those who are thinking of renovation of small homes.

I thought I was getting what was pictured. Instead, I got a used, rough looking Public Library book for half the brand new retail price of $14.99. I paid $8.08 total for this book.I will stay away from private sellers....lesson learned!The book contents are great. It has pages and pages of tiny home floor plans along with detailed costs associated with each plan. It is very informative and even brand new at $14.99 it is a bargain for what is inside.

A lot of great ideas for smaller homes. That said, the plans and designs themselves are inconsistent in terms of dimensions and abbreviations. Most of the plans are more traditional in design but their are some great ideas overall for brainstorming.

Great book with lots of floor plans to choose from! My son is looking to build a home that is bigger than a tiny home but smaller than a traditional sized home. This book provided lots of great options.

This is an OK book for the money, and some of the plans are pretty good, and I really like that they list how much it cost for various changes. I would like to say though that is such a disappointment to see people repeat the same plan over and over again and think that people who possess the book or not gonna notice. Come on, guys!

I love this book because it’s exactly what I was looking for. I’m having a custom house built, around 1,024 square feet, and I needed some ideas and inspiration before I draw up my own plans. Each plan featured in this book has square footage, number of rooms, a description of the home, and a picture or computer generated mock-up of the house’s exterior (and more). Some plans even include inside photos of the home. Depending on how you’re going to use this book, it can be really helpful and valuable. I think it’s a well-designed collection of snap-shots for small house plans.

So often home plan books say they have 'small' plans, but don't deliver. They'll have maybe a dozen, scattered through so you have search for them, getting more frustrated with each page. This book doesn't do that. As I go through a book, I'll turn the corner of the page down so, when I'm through, I can go back and compare the plans. With the variety of plans here, I realized thirty pages in that I'd turned down half the pages. It really is that good. The facades vary from sleek and modern to comfy country.This is the last book of home plans I need to buy. Excellent!

We're planning a "granny pad" for me on my daughters property. The book gives a lot of great ideas with detailed info on each choice. The tips for preparing to move & downsizing are very helpful as well. I believe the pricing is reasonable.

Bought this book to find tiny home designs. Has lots of great ones to choose from and you can order the pdf file for the plans if you choose.

Excellent book, exactly what I was looking for. Wanting ideas for exteriors and floor plans for a laneway home/carriage house. So many great options to flip through. 100% what I wanted this book to be. Option to buy the plans for the house.
