Great book! I laughed out loud!
Myra Katherine Hale's debut book,"Pearl," is for everyone! It is about finding your voice and stepping up to live a full life. Her wit and charm "dance" off the page. She will have you laughing from page one as she pulls back the curtains of her life to share the funny and the sad. She takes subjects considered "taboo" and shines a light on them in such an endearing way that you cannot help but to want to know her. Myra Katherine also leaves you with some "pearls" of wisdom based on her experiences. I loved it and hope I do not have to wait long for her second book!

Inspiration by Humor!
Myra Katherine tells the story about the “hard stuff” in her marriage and does it with humor and grace. From becoming broken to rising from the ashes she takes us through this journey and shares how her faith got her through the most difficult period in her life. After reading her book I vow to never be “shushed” again. Great read!!

I've never married, therefore never divorced, never had ...
I've never married, therefore never divorced, never had children and my faith is very different from Myra Katherine's. Yet, I connected to much, especially when she wrote about the "almost epidemic". And I laughed, I'm guessing on most every page. So, even if these things aren't you, it's still worth the read because you will find a connection and much laughter.

Funny yet poignant read
I laughed out loud throughout the entire book. Even in speaking of the hard stuff of life Myra Katherine does it all with grace, humility and loads of humor. Through it all, she points the reader to Christ and that alone is worth the read. If you are going through a tough time this book will lighten your load. If you aren't struggling currently, read it anyway!

Great Read!
First let me say, I hate to read. I read my Bible, and that's about it! But I couldn't wait to read this. I went to school with Myra Katherine and felt it necessary to support her. Boy, I was not disappointed. It only took me a few days to finish the book. It was honest, sad and a bit funny at times. Thank You Myra for sharing your story!
