Each strap is 10 ft. With 36 sewn numbered areas and two metal carabiners that can be locked with tiny screws.

What diameter pole/dowel/rod can you fit through the holes in the straps?

If you mean the marked adjustment slots that the carabiners clip into, 1.25". The slot at the top of the straps is much larger.
