Smooth operation and good fitting
Stainless steel is a great material for performance and durability. This valve is is so made and operated perfectly.Looks well enough made to last a very long time. Ball valves are so much better better than the old gate valve type!

Ball Valve without obstruction when ON and NO leaks when OFF
This Ball Valve has zero obstruction to full flow when open. When closed it does not leak at all, not even 1 drop per 10-minutes. I replaced an older gate valve that would not seal.Sealing the threads to stainless steel pipe can be somewhat more challenging than sealing a brass valve to a brass pipe. Successful seals can be made using a nickel-PTFE pipe-seal compound (Rectorseal 23631 Pipe Thread Sealant is on Amazon) along with about 8 wraps of nickel infused PTFE (Teflon) tape (Gasoila SA26 Nickel PTFE Tape Roll is available on Amazon). Use a thin layer of the nickel pipe-seal compound on the pipe threads, then install the tape, then add another layer of the nickel pipe-seal compound. Tighten the pipe into the valve with at least 50 foot-pounds of torque.

Both valves we bought leaked after having them installed. Had to have pool company come out and replace with their valves which weren’t stainless and that was really what we were wanting

Misleading title! Please read before buying
the title says 2 PC but I only received ONE piece. I contacted customer service and was told the description specifically says 1 piece is included. Very tricky and misleading title! Item itself is fine, I had no problem with it. I’m just very disappointed about the title and felt like was cheated/punished for not reading the description. Please everyone! Read description carefully(unless seller has corrected it by the time you’re reading this review).
