Cut perfect holes in my computer case for 2 120mm fans to cool the hard drives. Cuts smoothly if you are careful and is far better than the bi-metal blades I had used in the past, which tended to wander, got hot(burned the paint), and took a long time to cut

Solid Tool for DIY Projects, Just Needs a Steady Hand!
I used the Hole Saw Drill Bit for a DIY project to drill a hole for the water filtration system in my steel sink. It worked pretty well and made clean cuts, but I had a bit of trouble keeping it steady at first since it kept moving around. Once I got the hang of it, though, it cut through the metal just fine.

Worked well
I got to admit, I was a bit nervous about using a hole saw of this size however I also bought a holehawg with a clutch which I have wanted. This hole saw worked great for cutting in all the can light openings in my soffit over my covered porch and walkway.

Use a good cutting fluid with this tool
Excellent quality tool. I use this with a cutting fluid “Tap Magic”. All my drills and taps last almost forever. Fair price. Fast delivery!

Great hole saw.
Cut right through the steel on my Hyster fork lift.

Cut 4 1" holes in 3/8" mild steel. Still sharp.
Cut 4 1" holes in 3/8" mild steel. Still sharp. Once the teeth get below the surface of what you are cutting, chip clearing becomes an issue. Keep clearing it, and keep it well oiled as you are cutting. One of the 2 center drill bits that came with it was bent right out of the box, so I'm taking a star for that.

I needed to cut some AR400 plate steel. these cutters, while not the best quality, did the job. I was able to cut 4 holes at 2" diameter in 3/4" thick steel. Chip evacuation is rather poor, so i had to retract the cutter often to clear chips. And i used plenty of cutting oil to give the cutter a fighting chance. After these four holes, the teeth on the cutter are very worn, and i don't think it will cut one more hole.

sharp and cuts good, cut 10 holes in steel don't know how long it will last though, pricey name brand not as good as this thing.
