Will not work with Samsung galaxy S4.
Buying this cable was a bit of a disappointment thinking it would work with either my Samsung tablet or my Samsung galaxy S 4. It did not work with either one maybe because my phone is so outdated or older it didn’t give me a message or pop up on my TV screen so I don’t know how to write this review. However the price was great because I didn’t waste so much money the quality of the cable is great packaging was great and I’m sure it will work with new were iPhone devices but will not work with older phones at least with mine it won’t.

Didn't work as pictured
Didn't work how I wanted to as pictured. But my friend used it for something else. Could be it wasn't compatible with my phone in which I thought it would.I thought this could work with all andriod phones and it doesn't.

The small cable us necessary... Use it.
Even though the product did not arrive with instructions, there weren't many ways it could join together my s5 and TV. The only configuration that allowed a picture from my phone to appear on the TV was when the small, extra piece of cable was first plugged into the phone and then the larger cable plugged into the smaller one. Don't leave out the small piece of wire or you might not see your phone's screen mirrored on your TV. It's now a month into using it and the product works flawlessly. Thx.

Very Disappointed
Product was scheduled for a Sunday delivery but wasn't received until Tuesday. When I finally recieve the MHL kit and it didn't work. The product is made in China, the quality isn't superior. The wires are very thin and cheap. Also, the wires were no longer than 3 feet long. This is shorter than what's advertised. I was disappointed in this product. Also, the MHL adapter didn't attach properly to the USB connecting to the HDMI. This adapter kit was meant to replace a Samsung MHL, that is now discountined. This did not work with my Samsung S5 phone. Buyer beware.
