Very happy with this product.
Really good konjac noodles, great cold in soy dressing like for mayak eggs. I've only had them cold so far. Much better texture than other brands. Already re ordered. I can't have gluten so I don't know if they are true to 'Udon' but I have thoroughly enjoyed these.

Ideal for when the urge to carb binge hits
Youโd be disappointed if you expected like for like comparison to pasta. However, when seasoned well, these are exceptionally good and certainly fill a hole to great satisfaction.

Make sure you rinse well
The texture was a lot different from anything else I have eaten. I think it will be a bit like yaay or Naah.

Far less in packet than expected
I really like konjac noodles as a gluten free alternative to noodles. The chewy texture is the closest I have found to a wheat noodle. I also like that these are thicker, although I would say closer to ramen than udon. I have given three stars for two reasons. 1. The preparation guidance on the packet is not the best way to serve. When I follow the instructions they don't firm up and feel more "wet" in texture. I found rinsing, boiling for three minutes then dry frying gives a much better texture. 2.the packet states that the drained weight of the noodles is 200g, and could feed 2. Once drained I weighed out 100g for one portion and found this to be 2/3rds of the packet. The remaining portion was only 47g. So price wise worked out far more expensive per portion than I was expecting.

Review based on what it is, and 'correct' use
Firstly, i purchased the UDON variant, i saw a review marking this product down because it was not UDON enough. Udon's defining feature is its robust, thick made from WHEAT FLOUR, and has a chewy texture, which provides a satisfying and fuller experience.. ok... check. I wasn't expecting real wheat noodles, I intentionally purchased Shirataki Noodles so if you've come here to purchase the real UDON experience you should ask your support teacher why you cant find it here. These are really good actually, the ones I received specifically say they're a new formulas, so I didn't have to experience any 'fishy' smells as mentioned, I still rinsed them though. The price was alright as well, you get x6 in a box. Somewhere it says these are 2x servings per pack, but I don't think so really, they really bulk out a meal though and remember they're guilt/sin free. Cook these properly and they take on the flavor of what you're cooking, if you cant cook and thought near zero cal, zero carbs, zero salt, zero sugar and zero fat was going to taste of anything other than the pan you cooked them in then may you deity help you. Rinse them, let them sit. When ready turn the into a pan, skillet, wok, with no oil and move them until the water has evaporated off. The texture will change and it'll be ready to add your sauce, or if you're a savage to eat plain by adding as a side dish to your meal.(it will taste of nothing but the pan you just heated it in) Want an easy recipe? (caution of nut/seed allergens): Mix together: 1 tspn chilli paste 3 tspn peanut butter 1 tbspn/splash light soy 1 tbspn rice vinegar 1 tspn sesame oil salt/pepper Brown some sort of protein bits in a pan. add and fry off a chopped brown onion, 2 chopped spring onions add whatever veg. but once protein is cooked, and veg is soft, those noodles that you prepped earlier? add them and mix in that sauce you just created. If the meal its a bit stodgy from the added mix add a bit of water, a bit at a time to loosen the mixture to be a saucy as you like... that's how you cook with these noodles. Low cal, satiating, bulk dinners 5 Stars

Nice
Like othe konjac pasta this is almost indistinguishable from what pasta. It looks like udon and will absorb whatever sauce you cook it in.

Seems a good idea, if you can tolerate them.
I had no problem with the texture of these or the preparation involved before and during cooking. Infact I cooked them for abit longer and enjoyed the texture while eating. Yes you do have to chew them and you do feel like you're eating something more filling than normal pasta noodles, that is why I love udon noodles to begin with. What I did find difficult was they appear difficult for my body to process. Getting stomach growling, bloating, heart burn and indigestion during the evening/night and several days after was definitely not normal for me. I do not suffer from irritable bowels normally so that was definitely a first for me. Having purchased a box instead of an individual pack I will try them again and not throw them away..... Just yet.

Not Udon Noodles
I bought keto udon noodles on 16 Feb 2023. I am used to eating slim pasta etc and I am fine with the flavour and texture. Fed up with all the usual textures and sizes I was excited to try udon noodles expecting very fat noodles like standard udon noodles. These are not udon noodles. It is just a smaller than average bag of Konjac spaghetti. Noodles not even as thick as chopstick. False advertising! Will not buy again.
