EMT/First Responders Vital Statistics Notebook – 8” x 4” Medical Notebook for Vital Signs and Additional Patient Information – 70 Pages (12 Pack)

I had gotten a pack of these as a gift when I first became an EMT and I still use them all the time. This notebook is great, way easier than writing on gloves. It is a bit long, but with wise it fits in your back pocket well. It has plenty of space for patient info and it is organized really well. I have found it useful for new EMTs as it helps them give a more concise radio report and turn over. I've had a couple of Doctors and RNs say that they really appreciated it when I gave them the paper after giving my report. I have started giving them out to the new guys at work and they love them. The GCS and Trauma Scale on the back of the front cover is really handy too! The sections are as fallows: Call Info (Date, Time, Run #, Etc.) Patient Info (Name, Sex, DOB, Age, Addrs, Etc.) Chief Complaint (Good Space for writing out) Vital Signs (Temp, Pulse, Resp.,BP,LOC, Eyes, Lungs, EKG) Medical History (Good Space for writing) Medications Allergies On the back Notes Treatments Medical Assesment

These books are perfect for my clinical rotations. They fit perfectly in the side pockets of my duty pants and are the perfect height so as not to stick out and not too short so they’re easy to grab when needed. I also use them on duty to jot down information from calls and I can’t think of anything that could be more handy, unless they made a page format specifically for Fire service calls that aren’t medical. All in all, I love these notebooks and plan to continue to use them throughout my career. Even after completely filling one notebook, which took longer than I expected given the number of pages, the notebook has held up extremely well. The included quick references are a nice touch as well.

I initially bought the note pad as away to save a few dollars and to try so.ething different than the well know yellow notepad brand. Upon opening the package, first thing I noticed was the overall size of the notepad. To note, the stated size is correct but it doesn't seam so big until you try to put it in your pocket. Next, the notepad is relatively sturdy without being a stone slab. Opening up to the top page is an easy to read GCS table for adult and a GCS table for pediatric. It clear so reading under less then ideal light will not be a problem. Now the front sheet. There are multiple sections starting with incident address and number. I think that is wasted space and making the notepad larger than needed. There are plenty of places to write notes as well as you don't always have incident number right away. Having correct patient info will allow you to go back and check notes just fine. The rest of the sections are well laid out and easy to understand in a well thought out design. On the back is more then plenty of space to write extra notes. Couple smalls things I would like is more sheets per notepad. I would like plastic or laminated front and back covers. Water resistant pages would be great. I understand that those changes might change the price but in an ideal world that is what I would change. So in final thoughts, I would have given this 5 stars if the notepad had more pages and was shorter by not having g the first section of incident information. I would get these again.

What you will receive are 3, high-quality, vital statistic notebooks. The notebooks them selves have a thick cardboard front and back that are held together by a thick metal binder (not the cheap plastic ones that break or unwind themselves). Inside the front cover is a very useful set of scales (GCS and trauma scale) that will help you in the heat of the moment. Each page of the note book has a ton of space for pertinent details; Date/Time/Location Patient Info Complaint Info Vital Signs Medical History Medications Notes Treatments/Drugs Administered Medical Assessment As emergency medical professionals we know how very important trending is and taking very good, detailed and informative notes can be to the success of our patients. This notebook makes our note taking job a piece of cake. It has everything you are going to need to remember on scene right there at your fingertips in a convenient, well-made notebook. If you are a first-aid provider, EMR, EMT or beyond...you need to pick up a pack of these. I have and they are a huge help on scene. Way longer than I expected. I dont see myself using this in the field but great for practice.

Newly licensed EMT, saw this and thought it would be helpful on the job and it definitely is. I do wish it was a bit smaller to be more pocket friendly but otherwise no complaints.
