Excellent product, even works on Umarex M&P 40 Replica BB pistol
What a great product! I installed this on a replica BB pistol. This grip is easy to install, it's forgiving since I was able to reposition the grip many times until it was perfect. There was some overlap, but I followed the instructions and left it in place (dont cut it). Once the grip is installed as desired you need to apply heat (like from a hair dryer) to warm it up, then press the grip down into place. It's a night and day difference once installed. Totally worth it. It also ads a good amount of extra grip area in places that originally didnt have any grip. I'll be buying more of these for sure!

Great alternative to stippling.
This was a great fix to my MP which lacked a bit of grip. So far the grip feels great and in my opinion, the fit was spectacular. All it took was a bit of patience to have it line up properly. My only concern is if the adhesive will loosen up in the heat... other than that, still a great alternative to stippling.**Update**It's been about a year and a half since I applied the grip and it held up perfectly fine in the 100+ degree summer heat I was initially worried about. I've also fired a couple thousand rounds through the firearm. This month, the adhesive gave way on one of the corners, but all in all this was great. Just purchased another.

Shipping is Horrible
Three weeks to receive it?! Put it in an envelope and put a forever stamp on it.The product is great but don't be in a hurry to get it.

Greatly improves grip
I bought this to improve the grip of a S&W Shield, the original Shield that had very poorly designed stippling. That grip always felt too hard, this kit solved that. I followed the directions to a "T" and had no problems with the tape alignment or adhesion. I was going to sell or trade the gun, but now it's a keeper.

Installing these grips was a simple process.
I put these on in just a few minutes and trimmed a sliver off the one side and they worked perfectly. The look and those M&P handguns are already really comfortable. These made it perfect in my mind. I also added some night sights and of course an Apex trigger (the whole thing with sear) I can't miss now !!!! Well, ok I can hit the edge of the target at 40 yards , but that's pretty great performance for a 4 inch barrel. These grips look awesome as far as I am concerned and now that I have used the gun a lot at the range I feel these were just the perfect accessory to finish this project (ultimate USA made handgun). I got the parts I could here on Amazon and I hope they keep supporting gun owners.

Best grip I have found
This fixes the one problem I never liked with polymer frames... The slick feeling of the plastic. I first tried it with my Kahr PM9. The tape really makes the gun a much better beast. After 7 years, it is still on my grip and shows no signs of coming off. I bought this for my Smith M&p 40. Just as pleased with it. Easy to apply and fit perfectly. I prefer the rubber feel over the sandpaper texture, but that's a matter of preference. Would definitely buy again.

Solid Outer Texture Which Catches on Clothing...
Bought these grips because of the high ratings. A few people marked it down for failing on them in severe weather (heat). I use this for work and applied it to my M&P exactly as described. Ran it through multiple heatings with a blow drier and all was well. Let it sit for a while to settle itself while constantly giving it a little pressure to stay glued on.Unfortunately a small portion of my has started to come apart. What's happening is that when I wear a shirt over this (and obviously my holster) it catches on the grip (the texture is pretty rough and catches fabric easily). This has resulted in almost every time of wearing it under my shirt, the glue gives way in the same exact spot and it peels back. The spot I find this happening is on the right side (outside if wearing in holster) opposite of the thumb. I'll see if I can't provide a photo of it.Each time it's peeled back, I re-heat it with a dryer and it sticks back again. But eventually that's going to give and loose its stickiness. It's clear that if in extreme temperatures this wont hold up like other reviewers said. I'm in Colorado and if anything, the colder weather we've been having should hold it together better (vs say Florida, California, or Arizona where its significantly hotter and will melt the glue). Unfortunately that's just not the case. Will I buy these again when this one fails? Probably not. It's incredibly disappointing that I spent as much time as I did and the thing is failing on me. My wife got hers done at our range for about the same price (maybe $5 more) and they're not Talon grips. Hers has about the same texture (slightly less aggressive on clothing) and has held together with absolutely zero problems. She's had hers longer than I have. I might end up going with the ranges grips.Anyway, buyer beware. You might get lucky and it holds together... or it might fail. It's a gamble.

Great Talon Product.
Fits perfectly. Feels good. And stays on.Make sure you use a hair dryer on high setting or a heat gun so it better conforms to the grip. Love these grips.

Great Grip
A great grip. It has transformed my MP9. Total control, especially with strong/weak hand shooting. Be careful with installation. READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY and it’s no problem.

Maybe Hickok45 likes them, but I'll pass
So I bought these grips to "inhance" my grip, which was pretty good already, but more is better right? I had been practicing with my Smith to try out defensive pistol shooting to join competitions. I had got proficient in drawing from concealment before I received these grips and after I installed them everything I practiced went down the drain. If you seen the 1st Spider-Man movie with Tobey Maguire where crap was sticking to his hands and he couldn't get them off is the best way to describe it. Clothing would constantly stick to the pistol and make drawing a comber some task. Just to clarify I purchased the sandpaper kind. Well I went to my defensive pistol course, and again maybe it's just me, but I'm a guy who tends to always have warm hands. After some drills of drawing and mag changes I noticed that the grips were heating up and shifting due to the grip pressure. I was constantly repositioning them, but because I couldn't say to instructor "may we stop the course to let my pistol grips cool down" I had to just keep going. Well after my first set of draw and fire skills the grips had bunched up on the side and I had enough and I went to the safety area and removed them. 35 bucks down the drain. If you wanna use them to shoot target style, or your hands are on the cooler side, or your grip is loose, maybe these would be good for you, but they were not good for me. And if you were wondering the answer is "yes" I did heat them up and cool them three times to set the adhesive, and "yes" I cleaned the crap out of them to remove all traces of oil.

Nice grip but it will not stick as well to ...
Nice grip but it will not stick as well to the back strap. Any amount of time holding the pistol and the grip was moving around... had to cut it down and tuck it under the back strap... still nice but not what I was hoping for.
