We needed to replace our previous Hollyland transmitter and thought we would give this a try. The picture quality and stability is amazing and the new stumpy style antennae’s made us feel that the didn’t have to handle it with kid gloves in the normal day to day shooting. Most of our shooting is run and gun and we can be in several locations in one day, so the conservative battery consumption means that one set of Sony NP70 batteries easily lasts the whole day. We had a few delivery issues but the one thing we can attest to is that the Hollyland customer service is best I have experienced from a technology company - they get back to when they say they will and are very solution orientated which is an important aspect of product purchase for us as a small production unit. We have already ordered two additional pairs to upgrade our kit and the whole team love them. Can’t wait to see what they bring out next.

Worked perfectly right out of the box. A huge improvement on the previous mars products, the range is much better. The fans are quiet and have caused no issues despite what some others have said.

Having come from Teradek Bolt series, I can say that for the price these work as good if not better than the early 500/600 series. Maybe not ideal for AC pulling due to tiny 5ms latency, but the fact that you can stream to Rx and then ALSO everyone else iPhones/androids (4-5 devices I think?) means these are bang for buck better than bolt.

It delivers what it says, although I haven't had the opportunity to test it for long distance yet. It's worth the price.

This works well with 4K, but I can't get it to work with ProRes RAW footage (from my Nikon Z6 to a Ninja V. I did talk to support, and as I was going to send it back, I was a little underwhelmed with their response of 'it should work'. I ended up keeping it, as the Nikon is not my main camera and I had a use just to beam to a 4K screen.

Performance is truly excellent. Just mount, turn on and go.

Having owned a previous version of this transmitter, I was excited to benefit from the upgrades on this version including the 4K capability. The new design is quite nice and the repositioned display on the side of the device is a lot more convenient for me at least.. The set up time is minimal, the Rx and Tx pairs seamlessly but if you did want to, you could switch to a more convenient channel. Build quality is decent with solid switches , buttons and ports. I'd definitely recommend

Poor distance coverage. What is advertised is not correct. Signals are lost within a small space. Not satisfied with the product. The previous version had better range coverage.

Ich habe bereits den Mars M1 Monitor von Hollyland im Einsatz und habe diesen mit dem Mars 4K System erweitert. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist unheimlich gut. Ich hoffe nicht erwartet, dass Empfänger und Sender komplett aus Metall sind. Es gibt jeweils ein Gewinde an den Geräten, wobei man mit einem Aufsatz ein zweites Gewinde zu einem der beiden Geräte hinzufügen kann. Hier hätte ich mir zwei Adapter gewünscht. Für mich war es wichtig sowohl HDMI als auch SDI nutzen zu können. Ein 4K Signal bekommt man aber nur über HDMI. Sehr positiv finde ich, dass der Stromanschluss mit einem Gewinde kommt und man so das Stromkabel richtig sichern kann. Die Kompatibilität mit dem Mars M1 war einer der Kaufgründe und die Integration funktioniert problemlos. Die Übertragung des Video- und Audiosignals ist sehr stabil und im freien Gelände auch über große Reichweiten möglich. Ich bin mit der Latenz ebenfalls vollkommen zufrieden. Geringe Latenzen gibt es nur so wesentlich höheren Kosten. Auch wenn ich es selbst so fast nie nutze, ist die HollyView App ebenfalls als positives Feature zu nennen. Wenn man nicht an einen oder zwei Mars Empfänger senden, kann man das Videosignal auch auf 4 mobile Geräte kommen. Die HollyView App bietet dann alle Funktionen einen Kameramonitors. Rundum ein gelungenes Produkt und für meine Einsatzzwecke perfekt.

Hollyland has been making great strides in the last few years, becoming a good buy for pro video gear. It reminiscent of when Suny (now Sony) first hit the market and was distrusted at first. the 4k video transmitter does everything it says. I use it to stream from pro video cameras on shoots and it works very well. we have a 10k video system from a decade ago that doesn't work half as well. The latency of the video signal is minimal, not noticable for pro use. the distance LOS is very good. I did an outdoor event recently and used it in reverse to send signals from the video switcher to the projector which was hundreds of feet away. It worked perfectly. It finds its own channel and syncs by it self. you can manually change frequencies if need be. you will need to buy battery packs for it or another power supply as it only comes with one. I have sony f90 packs already so there was no issue. The units will run 5+ hours on a battery.

Ce système émetteur récepteur 4K sans fil fonctionne vraiment très bien juste une petite chose évitez de mettre un émetteur trop près de la Régie des récepteurs des autres caméras car cela peut générer des troubles dans la réception et perturber quelque peu le système mais dès que vous avez dépassé 3 ou 4 M il n'y a plus de problème vous pouvez y aller ça fonctionne parfaitement la qualité de la transmission est irréprochable

Hollyland migliora costantemente i suoi prodotti e il Mars 4K ha un rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile rispetto a qualche anno fa. Struttura molto solida in alluminio, aggiunta del livello di carica della batteria sui display, alimentazione anche tramite USB-C, trasmissione del segnale stabile, antenne compatte anche se coprono le sole frequenze Wi-Fi 5 Ghz, ed eccezionale la possibilità di trasmettere un secondo segnale anche allo smartphone tramite app HollyView. Ho un iPhone, e oltre a ricevere il video a pieno schermo senza collegare accessori, posso anche registrare. C'è un po' di latenza nella trasmissione, ma ci sono prodotti di gamma superiore che migliorano anche questo aspetto. Sono pienamente soddisfatto di questo acquisto che uso per scopi professionali.
