CasioDW-5600BBN-1 G-Shock Black Out Basic Digital Men039;s Watch (Nylon Band)

While looking for a tough everyday watch to add to my collection, the decision to got for a GShock was an easy one. I think that the value for money, quality, heritage, and looks are unmatched. Although the entry-level DW 5600 you can find at your local Target or Walmart is great, the sleek all-black looks of this DW-5600BBN-1 reference caught my eye. It blacks out even some of the labels at the dial from the other G Shocks making it even more "Tactical" looking.The buttons are a bit difficult to access but this is part of the design to avoid any unnecessary pushes. At first, the dial may appear difficult to read but I got used to it from day one. The backlight is amazing like with any other GShock. I do not have any accuracy measurement device but since I adjusted the time with time.is online about a month ago, it is running just about a second behind. Probably not radio calibrated like other Solar models I was also looking, but since this all-black design it is not offered in the Multiband 6 models, I am definitely happy with my purchase considering the great accuracy, a better look and a cheaper price tag.This particular reference carries already a mod I was planning in the future, swapping the resin band for a nylon with the JaysandKays adapters so I skipped the purchase and install with this model. The included strap is great, feels durable and tough while being comfortable to the skin. The hardware is silver instead of black, but I don't mind this since it matches the under case and buttons. The last photo shows the bullbars I got from a seller from Amazon which adds the last detail for this perfect everyday beater. The strap looks high quality. You can change it for any 24mm strap. The light glows green which I like.

Not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, watch I’ve purchased, which I can count on one hand, but is my first Casio. I enjoy the murdered out aesthetic, comfort of the durable Cordura fabric band, and the waterproof characteristic, since I wash my hands frequently, and even shower in it sometimes (it’s holding up completely there). Excellent value for the money paid!!

After scratching the Crystal and breaking a few watches, I decided I needed a more durable watch than what I was wearing. You don't get much more durable than A G-Shock 5600. On top of being functional, the black-on-black theme is just plain cool. The only real complaint I have is that the watch strap is very stiff and doesn't break in well. I would also have preferred black hardware on the strap, but that's an aesthetic preference that can easily be remedied by buying a ZULU replacement strap (NATO straps don't fit quite right)

The media could not be loaded.  The most important thing that I would like to say is about the style that is fresh, is very different that the normal version, it is beautiful. The other thing is about the size (my wrist is only 6.5") and for me fit in perfect.I'm loving the strap what is very comfortable.Finally, I recomend the seller, the shipment was fast and with out problems.

After checking the official Casio website and other various sources, I believe this is the genuine Casio Blackout 5600 on with the nylon band and adapter. All features work fine and is just a digital watch.

I love g shock, chunkier the better! I own mudmens, solar, I own quite a few, but I keep reaching for this slim down version that simple, all black, nato strap is awesome, I mean, it's everything I want in a watch minus a few features I've enjoyed such as the solar, the dirt resistance, but this watch makes nit for.me.

Love the sleekness.Husband cut off secondary band retention because hes a Big man and it wasnt needed. Does move around a bit he adjusts it all the time because the band moves but he cant wear normal bands do to sweating. He loves the fabric type codura band on it. It breathes and makes it something he wears all day now instead of being annoyed all day by the cheap rubber watch bands that tend to be on watches.
