Plastic is a comic where I just saw it and thought huh this looks interesting. I enjoyed it from beginning to end and like Happy it was a comic that I didn't expect to become a favorite of mine from just the synopsis.

This is one of the most bizarre stories I have ever read and had me hooked from the first page! Amazing artwork and definitely one of the most original/creative stories about a serial killer. You will be rooting for Edwyn.

I went into just hearing that it had to do a lot with body horror... which was entirally wrong, what I got was a strange endearing take on the most unlikely anti-hero. A man takes a girlfriend, Virginia, out into the country for some privacy from his mother when some hoods disrespect her, which leads to them getting taught the valued lesson of respect. The Virginia happens to be a blow-up doll and one of the hoods happens to have a mafia man as a father. The man goes on a very bloody rescue mission to save Virginia from the baddies and makes some life long friends in the process.I was amazed at how much I liked everybody in this book regardless at how simply crazy they were, the illustrations were top notch and it was simply a joy to read. Not for the faint of heart or the prude. Accepting his reality was half the fun.

It was a Xmas present for someone who works in plastic.Who knows....

A little gory and twisted, but the illustrations are excellent.
