Marvelous
As you can see I order many different kinds of gel. I really like this product, it spreads easy it's spreads out on its own like it's supposed to once you get it to where you want it I would recommend it

I love the consistency of this polygel!
I continuously read in reviews and hear on YouTube that Makartt is the best “non professional” polygel brand available on amazon in regards to consistency. I happen to disagree. And so far beetles has taken the cake in my book. I have tried quite few different brands of polygel from amazon, probably close to 10, including makartt. And while Makartt is good- very firm and not too sticky, it’s almost too firm. Beetles on the other hand is definitely firm and hardly sticky but not so firm that it’s difficult to mold into place the way I feel Makartt can sometimes be. I am really glad I purchased this beetles set and will definitely be purchasing more of their colors in the future. You’re probably wondering why I only gave it 4 stars, if I love it so much, right? Well the reason I knocked off one star is solely based on the colors. I feel that not only could beetles have done a better job representing the colors in their product photos but I was also disappointed in the fact that the 2 purples and 2 lighter blues were very similar in color. The purples were different enough in that one had cooler undertones and the other had warmer undertones, but the light blues were nearly identical. I’m not a big fan of blue, I mostly ordered this set for the purples, but I was looking forward to using the periwinkle color. So I was disappointed that instead of one periwinkle, I received 2 colors that look like sky blue. I was also expecting the colors to appear more opaque based on the product images but unfortunately quite a few appeared somewhat translucent. Not a big deal, but definitely worth mentioning. To give you an idea of the colors, I posted a couple pictures of my swatch sticks in different lighting. Don’t mind the sloppy application, I was just throwing them on to get an idea of the colors. I also posted a photo of a recent set I did using color 54. Unfortunately the color is quite a bit more see-thru in person. I had to mix up a gel polish color that matched in order to get a more opaque look. Color is still gorgeous tho.

Amazing
Most polygels are really sticky. But I didn’t really see that with these. You get 6 beautiful colors. They are so easy to work with.

IF you don't have skills...don't bother
I have been blessed with skills to do nails so I do love these, but they definitely were a learning curve. The glitter colors don't spread as well as the gel itself seems thinner and stickier than the solid colors. I do love polygels because they stay on my nails better then dip powders, but I do love BEETLES brand for both and for their gel polish.

Not so easy
Okay, most of these colors do not harden fast at all. I've had some under the light for 10 mins plus and still was soft. It is a little too easy to use due to it running, so I had to do one nail at a time and dry. The black wasn't black at all it was grey.

Move over Dip powder, im a polygel gal now!
I am in LOVE with polygel! A friend let me have a small tube from a Modelones kit they got and now there is no going back for me!The base of my nails is the purple glitter from the blue/purple set and my camera just wont do it justice! The purple tips were done in a fine glitter and the design is a nail stamping plate, but I hated to cover it up it was just gorgeous!!For a set of 10 nails I feel like I used half of one tube, even with all the product I waisted because I am still getting a feel for how much to use!If you are new to poly gel I have some recommendations too!*Polygel wont last through filing without proper prep! I use a nail dehydrator, a primer and a gel base coat and my set lasts me weeks!* You want at least one decent brush that wont shed any hairs to moves and smooth out the product* You can reuse plastic dual forms so if you want to play with shapes you can get a smaller pack with several options instead of a massive pack with one shape*I would highly consider gettimg a little efile, its easy to bulk up underneath the nail when starting, an efile will make smoothing that out so fast!* It takes a bit of practice, be patient with yourself!

Lovely colors and great consistency
I never tried poly gel before, so I thought I’d pick up one of Beetles’ sets (and Makartt’s blue set) after watching some tutorials since I like their gel polishes. While it can be easy to use, it can get pretty messy when starting out. I recommend having rubbing alcohol on hand, otherwise everything will end up sticky. At least that’s what it felt like for me haha, but the poly gel is nice to work with. The photos are from my first time using it, plus a couple colors from Makartt’s blue set. I used Modelones Poly Extension Gel Dual Nail Forms as they’re a lot straighter than the ones that came in the Makartt set. It was my first time using polygel, so I was just testing out the colors they provided, as well as mixing different glitters into a clear. It’s great that the dual forms are reusable, but that’s where it can get really sticky. Laying the poly gel over tips or using regular nail forms to fully build the nail would probably be a bit more time consuming for beginners like myself, but possibly less sticky.Definitely recommend a poly gel set from Beetles since it’s so nice to work with. It’s not too hard or too soft, it has a nice formulation and consistency, and is pretty easy to manipulate. Makartt is great too, but Beetles has a nice price tag.Unfortunately, I don’t see the blue set available here while I’m reviewing this, but I’m sure the poly gels that are available are just as great.
