Seems well built, easy to use, compact, inaccurate
Well, this item just got delivered today 7/2022. First thoughts are it is seemingly well made. Packaged very nicely and securely. However, the instruction booklet includes does not say how to know when the battery is fully charged… it says 5 hours to fully charge but doesn’t give if there is an indicator on the lcd screen when it’s fully charged. Right now I have it plugged in and there are 3 solid white lights and 1 blinking light…Also, I tried to reach out to their listed support email on the back of the booklet and received a message back it was undeliverable due to their mailbox being full. That’s doesn’t seem promising as a first time buyer of their products for customer support. Their website listed an email for Amazon support questions. We’ll see if I get a response…I will update this review once I receive a response and/or after I have a first time use with the product.**** Update 11/18/2022:ThiEye website listed an email for Amazon support questions. I didn’t receive a response to my inquiry in 7/2022.I needed to fill up all 4 tires from between 25/26 psi, according to the ThiEye, to 33/34 psi. I forgot to time it but estimated based on camera footage about 25 minutes total for all four tires air pressure to be inflated. On the last tire I had a flashing battery indicator of one bar; most likely needing charged.Pros:1. I believe the device would be good in a pinch or if you’re stranded and only need to fill up small amounts in multiple instances before running out of battery. I had used it maybe 10-20 minutes total when testing it out and filling up bicycle tires and fitness balls prior to this day of needing it to fill up my car tires.2. The device held battery charge with that very little use since the purchase in July 2022, so about 4 months.3. It’s easy to use for 3 of the preset modes I used it for, once you get the process down.4. The screen lights up while in use and is easy to see. Because it was cold out I sat in my car and waited for the last two tires to inflate since it took about 7-8 minutes a tire, I could open my car door and look out to see the screen in daylight, also I could hear the device running (it’s very loud which could be a con for some) making it easy to know when it shut off because it was done (or I guess if it overheated and shut off you’d be alerted if you weren’t right by the device). I kept an eye on it though for safety of course.5. It’s compact and easy to store in a car. Although I stored it inside my house when not using it so it wouldn’t be in the super hot heat of the car in the summer (it’s over 100 degrees a lot) or in the winter cold to keep the device from being effected by the elements prolonged. Maybe in a bit cautious there and makes it a have to grab on the go, so those who have stored it in their car all year long I’m curious if the device/battery were effected. It does say made of fireproof material, so maybe it’s fine to be in a hot car.6. The device is not slippery to hold and isn’t too heavy.7. The over-inflating protection they say it has to stop the inflation when it’s reaches the set air pressure works, kind of, see #1 below in cons. It stopped but… psi was off.Things to be aware of/cons:1. My first use for inflating my car tires to the device set psi of 33 was off by 3 to 4 psi. I checked the psi after inflation with another digital psi measure device and it said the tires were at 36 and 36.5 and 37. So very inconsistent and over inflated. I even took my car to the dealership I happened to drive by same morning and they said the same measurements. Therefore, the device over inflated the tires and measurement of the air pressure for the device is off on its readings before starting inflation. This makes it not that reliable of a device for the price paid and even more frustrating because of the price.2. Definitely need to set aside time before any travel to fill up all four tires (tires lost pressure due to winter weather temps and the car sitting more days in the garage than normal due to less driving).3. If you need more than about 8 psi in each car tire, you might run out of battery if you used it previously and it’s not fully charged.4. The bag that is included to store all the items is almost too small and you have to be creative in how to get everything in it.5. The bag provided for storage is soft, and because it is a bit small, be mindful of how the device in the bag is stored, the power button could be pressed unintentionally.6. The digital LED screen is nicely lit but gets finger prints, not really a con, just have to clean it if you can’t stand the finger prints.7. The connector cord is a bit short from the device to the object you’re filling up the air in. In the instance of a bicycle tire or a car tire, I worry it would pull on the connections or components and maybe they’d eventually be damaged, but I don’t really know that would be the case. Just a thought. Also, because of the short cord and the fact the device vibrates while in use, I worry to lay it down on a hard surface, dirt, rocks etc. thinking it may scratch the outer covering; they do say it’s made of durable material so maybe is fine, I just don’t want to take the chance. These make me think I need to hold on to the device the entire time which can get uncomfortable if you have to do all four tires. So find a way to get comfortable. I found something to place between the device and the wheel or ground (depends where the tire tube when I was tired and hands were cold holding it (I could have put gloves on) and it was hanging against the wheel. Or just be better prepared to hold it.8. The manual doesn’t explain the indicator the battery has completed charging so the assumption is when the bars on the screen stop flashing, it’s fully charged.9. The manual doesn’t say how long it takes for the battery to fully charge; I estimate about 2 1/2 hours. I tried to keep an eye on it while charging with a stopwatch set.

ThiEYE USB rechargeable tire inflator
First of all, very nicely packaged and an attractive unit. I fully charged the unit and went to inflate my motorcycle tires which were down 5lbs each. I followed the instructions and held down the on/off button. Nothing. I tried several different ways of pressing the switch/button. Finally got a tire pressure reading on the LCD screen. Pressed the on button to start the pump. Nothing. Again tried multiple ways of pressing the on switch. Finally started the compressor. Inflated to my preset pressure of 40lbs. I checked the pressure with an accurate tire pressure gauge. The unit overinflated the tire by1lb. I reset the preset 1lb under at 39psi for my front tire. Again, I had to press the on switch multiple times to get it functioning. It inflated the tire to 39psi and shut off as intended. I checked the tire and it was inflated to 40psi. When it works it’s great. I inflated my bicycle and wife’s car with same results. Just takes multiple tries. Not sure if the switch is finicky or I’m not pressing it correctly. If this continues I may ask for a replacement unit. Anyone else experience this with their unit?Update: I have requested a replacement for this unit as I was not satisfied with the operation. I have received the new compressor and it works flawlessly. Easy one touch operation to check current tire pressure and inflate to the correct pre-set psi. Very satisfied with this USB rechargeable portable air compressor. This compact unit would be great in your garage or glove box for emergencies.

worked properly
The size makes it uncomfortable to hold.

Great!
I use this for my car, but also my Harley Road Glide. It's compact enough for saddle bags with tire plugs. Same with the car. It's just as advertised. I ordered 2. Great for emergencies.
