Dell Latitude E7240 12.5in Business Laptop, Intel Core i5-4300U, 8GB DDR3L RAM, 256GB SSD, Windows 10 Professional (Renewed)

This is the second one ordered from CL3 since this is the only company that ships to my state. These are refurbished units that appear and feel new with very tiny or no scratches at all on the case or the screen. Originally 8 gb of ram but increased to 16gb on both units since memory modules were so cheap. Switching from website to another one takes less than a second. It is that good. Packing is simple but well done. Shipping costs is downright reasonable and received it is less than one week. Dell laptops are one of the best and easiest to upgrade unlike HP where 14 screws needed to be removed and you need to be extremely careful removing the keyboard from the sticky case bottom. Totally frustration and definitely a turn off compared to only two screws on this Dell Latitude.

This has everything I was looking for in a used computer. It runs flawlessly and is in amazing condition. Works perfect with ForScan!

The screen was damaged, the outside of the laptop had damage, and the OS wouldn't start. I did look up video tutorials on how to fix it, but none of the methods I tried worked. This was said to be an "excellent condition" refurbish, but nothing about the software or hardware says excellent condition, unfortunately.

A lot of power and performance in a small package. Very very light weight. I bike to work and weight is an issue and this laptop was perfect for my ride to work and home. The solid state hard drive allows it to boot fast and it really conserves power. It is very powerful. I use it for 3D solid modeling, running SolidWorks and I have designed a CNC machine with a lot of parts and assemblies with this laptop. Additionally, I design with Adobe CC using Illustrator, PhotoShop, Dreamweaver and Animate and will have SolidWorks running at the same time. My company provides me an HP laptop at more than twice the cost, but this is hands down a better laptop.

Item arrived in perfect condition no scratches not a scuff. I owned it for nearly 3 months and just days before the warranty expired I encountered an error screen. "media test failure." It kept on saying that the laptop was damaged and I couldn't find out what was wrong with it and it is refurbished looks like someone else probably had the same problem with the laptop as me. so I have requested for a return and I hope for a smooth fix I will update this review if everything goes well with the return. And it did not arrive with a backlit keyboard like described I wish it would have.

Had a couple issues, which I fully expected buying a reconditioned laptop, but customer support was outstanding and took prompt corrective action. Overall I am very satisfied with my laptop. First, I chose this recon laptop because it had a backlit keyboard. They shipped me a model that didn't have it, but I submitted a note and they called me directly and got me a model with it in about a week. Then the power cord died. Same thing, I had a working power cord in about a week. No other problems since. They were very courteous, and provided prompt service. Overall I am very satisfied with this laptop and the price paid.

This is a wonderful laptop for the price. It is surprisingly fast and has a decent amount of storage space. This is the perfect laptop for someone who doesn't want to spend tons of money and just needs something for basic computer use. The battery life isn't great but considering the price it isn't bad.

Overall, a good refurbished unit. Clean, good feel and operation. However, I work in a very quiet environment, and the units (2) ran hot and the fan was relatively loud. Returned. No hassels.
