Where was this when I was a kid
This is an absolutely awesome "space fort". This was the only thing my son (8 years old) wanted for Christmas & it has delivered for sure. He has slept in it since I put it up.This thing is BIG! It takes up more than half of his standard sized bedroom. It was not difficult to put together either, took me about 30-45 minutes (not including the time it took to rearrange the room so it would fit).There is plenty of space inside. I'm an average sized female and it fits myself & my three kids comfortably (11, 8 & 7). It does get hot with everyone inside so a small fan helps.My kids all loved finding the constellations. I found it rather relaxing too. Definitely a must buy. I chose to purchase from Amazon versus Mindware directly based on prime shipping cost. Mindware wanted to charge $50 for "oversized item" the box was literally a 3 foot long rectangle and about 9 inches deep, not what I'd call an oversized item.
