I purchase this Item so that we could see out Back for the Horses and Dogs. Well that was a Waist of $$$$. Fun Toy for about 2 minutes. The App on the cell Sucks to no end, and is very hard to work as other stuff keeps pupping up. Not good for Large Property, Farms, Ranches. If you are a City dweller It may work Better for you, Also Not Elderly Friendly. So if you are over 55 just go get yourself a Hardwired system and let the younger folks keep their millennium gadgets.

Purchased the first camera 2/27, then ordered 5 more on 3/28. Cameras work as described so far no issues the operations of them. They we easy to set up, just flowed the directions sent in email for company. The picture are clear, the picture will distort when you zoom in. The issues I have are 2 of the 6 cameras may have been returns, the reason I say that both had to be charged for over 12 hours, the film was missing from the camera lens, the cord on the solar panels had been re rolled and tied. No issues with the function of both the cameras. The only dislike is the sensitivity misses activity in the alarm zone. I have changed the setting on the sensitivity and it did not make a deference, it picks up about 60% to 70% of humanoid activity at best. I have changed the setting from the factory setting 6, down to 1 then to 10 with no change in direction. Overall they are good cameras for security reasons, with 6 cameras we are able to see our entire property (1.25ac)

When I first got the camera I had a hard time setting it up. I checked everything,( 4g camera icon on the app, wired camera icon, ..and it just would not link up. Finally I called the customer service, and explained what I did. He patiently told me what to do, but I already tried and checked all those things and procedure. I was about to return the product but I gave it a last try. I selected the icon ( black color square looking icon but it WORKED !! After getting it to link up I noticed the picture quality was very blurry and pixely when zooming in. The clarity did not seemed to be 2.5k ,4MP. as it claimed I quickly sent an email to the company and asked why this camera picture not as clear as my Old 3MP camera. The company responded right away, and asked me to send a picture or video to them, but I already solved the problem earlier. The problem was that I was not in the right setting while view. By selecting the QHD rather than the SD mode the picture was much clearer and I could zoom in and still see clear. Anyway, the camera is now working well and I ended up buying another one. However, this time the set up took me less than 5 mins. I am planning to get a few more to cover every corner of my property.

I was looking for something that gave me a heads up when someone came into our driveway area. Our front door faces a different direction than the driveway, so a doorbell type wouldn't work for me. I love that it's solar powered. I'm still trying to figure out all the features, but so far I'm very impressed. I assume it wouldn't be very fast/good if a person didn't have decent wi-fi so keep that in mind. Update: I've been using 2 cameras for over a month now. The one camera keeps giving me a message that the charge is under 20% . The solar charger is working, but I assume because the combo of several daily 10 sec videos along with cloudy days doesn't allow it to charge up fast enough. I might have to switch to plugging it in.

Install was pretty smooth - app, camera, and the integration with Alexa all worked as described and without significant complication. Picture looks good in all modes (color, bw, ir). Pan, tilt, and zoom are easy and work well. Choosing the color system fires up an intimidating spotlight after motion detection. This should make the burglar's break-in pre-perpetration "Should I do it?" decision look less likely to succeed in the long-term (picture of jail cell) but then again it's pretty true that most burglars- by definition- are not the brightest folks in the world so those of us defending our homes, families, cars, tools etc. can only hope... and think like a criminal - it should help deter them! ;)This appears to be a great buy so far but please know its only been up and running for 6 hours. I put this cam inside our freestanding garage mostly to help reinforce our grid-powered alarm and camera systems (and related video evidence) if power is shut off by an intruder or there's an outage. Appears it should detect anyone who tries to enter any window or door and send that data to the cloud asap so that even if shortly thereafter the intruder destroys this garage camera or related router/extender, it wont prevent anyone's well-deserved conviction and/or trip to a jail cell based on indisputable 2.5k color video evidence!

Returned for finding 5 MP camera.

On the rare occasion that it captures a motion event, it takes 12 seconds to watch the clip. It lets you set a zone to monitor, but you have to manually position the camera back to the zone you set to monitor. 12 seconds to see live video. Doesn't send event notifications to Alexa, so it sorta works with Alexa. 'works with Alexa' should mean it actually works with Alexa. Oh, and the mic picks up noting.

about 1/3 or the cost of a soliom+ cam, but works just as well (better), supports alexa show. so far so good, been a few months, keeps itself charged and good alerts.

If you need a high quality camera with low cost. This is the one. I love it!! Absolutely amazing. I am on my second purchase. The pic quality is superb. Works well and easy to install. You wont lose off it.

And the solar camera is just as good. The picture is a night shot and I like how clear it is. I really can't say much more than everybody else has already said about it. There is one thing I can say the sensitivity is just perfect. Since I'm using mine for animals I'm able to sense a squirrel or a flying bird and if I don't want to I just turn it down a bit and I can still pick up my cat or a dog with no problem. I find I'm using anywhere from three to six on the 1 to 10 sensing system. Not sure if people know this but if you take a screenshot of what you're looking at then go to the album click on the picture in the album then you can use two fingers and spread the picture apart or just tap on it twice and you can do that two times to make it larger. Then you just back out of there.I did have a problem with my camera but the customer service took care of that right away.Great camera and great support.Yes I would recommend this camera to my friends and have already done so.

With the price of this camera, the picture quality could be better. I have another camera which is way cheaper and provides good picture quality. The motion sensor is supposed to capture movement from around 30 to 33 feet but I noticed I had to go closer for it to detect me. I maximized all the settings but still the same result. There are better cameras at a better price.

The camera works well for the most part, but does miss some detection.I have to continually log in to the camera as I often get a message that the session has expired.
