To set the light to sleep you also have to hold the power button down and unless your area is very bright the light will stay on. Having that said it greatly improved video quality and will work great for when we are away

I'm disappointed. My assumption was wrong. This lights up independently from what Pawbo is doing. I had assumed it would only light up when I was connected and trying to watch my cats. Instead, it lights up anytime the room is dark. Even when I'm home and want to go to sleep in the same room. You can buy a motion activated light for a fraction of the price. I'd give it a 1 star, but I may actually keep it, just because is solved the problem of running another power cord.

The great thing about the Pawbo+ is that you can purchase accessories but that comes at an extra expense! The Pawbo Flash isn't terribly priced at £29. It claims to provide colourful viewing video and image in the dark and LED lights that automatically lower the brightness when the pet is close to the camera.The ears are very cute and look good on the camera but they kept falling off. I could never get them to stay on. I only managed to clip them on once but they didn't stay there for very long, especially when moving the camera. This got irritating very quickly!To activate the light, all I had to do was click the button on the side of the ears and click it again to turn them off. There was no way to turn them off from the app. So, I would have to leave them on all night just to check in on my cat the odd time if I wanted to. This seemed like a great way to waste money and energy.When using the Pawbo Flash on the app, it did make a pitch black room visible on camera featuring some colour with a great deal of lag. The lights were so bright and they irritated my cat and they did not adjust when he was close to the camera. I couldn't keep the Flash on, it was too bright and unnecessary. I have used night cameras which work fine without a light. You could clearly see things though but the quality was poor.I would not recommend this product. It would be better if you could turn it off when on the app instead of having to manually go into the room. They look very cute but I don't think I am going to continue using these.
