I couldn't decide so bought (invested) in TWO of these 1910 dress options for a Murder Mystery Dinner I hosted in early January. This one (as stated in other reviews) is NOT pale pink as it appears, definitely a light cream but STILL gorgeous and it can "look" slightly pink with the right accessories. So beautiful. You do NOT want a full hoop under this, just a back bustle (they have tie ons at Amazon). I did spend too much trying to get the under garments right. I'll use for other costume opportunities. The only drawback is that I would have needed to iron this. I instead ordered a black/white one that just came out ready to wear (I loved both options) and I used this dress for the Murder Mystery Dinner "victim" which happened to be female. Next time I'll wear this and use the other dress for the same dinner, which has 3 endings. VERY high quality. Expensive, yes, but finally something that costs a bit but is actually WELL MADE, well sized and LOVELY.

I ended up ordering a medium because the small size fit except for the jacket, which was too tight. The small size skirt and blouse fit perfectly. I had to alter the medium skirt and blouse. to fit. Other than the issue with the fit, the dress is gorgeous, and the material feels substantial. It does need to be steamed or ironed because it arrives very wrinkled. The zipper is very obvious not appropriate for this time period, and does not work smoothly. I will probably replace it with more appropriate black "hooks and eyes" . I also added a bustle so that it was as full as the picture of the item.

This costume got rave reviews at my dress rehearsal of My Fair Lady last night! I initially ordered an XL based on the measurements given, and the blouse and skirt were way too big, so I had to go back and get a L, which is what Amazon originally suggested. Now the blouse is still a bit big, the skirt is good (it has elastic on the sides) and the jacket is juuust big enough. It also comes with a sash, which you can tie around your waist so it hangs down in the back, or use as a decoration for your hat! The fabric is stiff and I definitely had to iron it before wearing, but it's a great costume for the price.

This is a very pretty dress It’s shows up as pink but it is a off white to a lite yellow and if your a person that is bigger than a large it looks like you’re wearing a sack

The color on Amazon looked pink, which I debated about. I ordered it anyway and the color was creme and black. I love it! I am 5'8" and normally wear a size 10. I ordered a large and it fits perfectly. The quality of the fabric and the construction is better than I ever imagined. Delivery was prompt.

I had to clean it before I could wear it. Item was not checked before shipped. The dress is well made and beautiful. I did not have time to order another. Shipping was good.

I ended up trying two different sizes of this outfit. First, I ordered a size Large which is what I usually wear with these. The photos in front of a mirror are that one. The skirt was a perfect fit, but the rest was too tight in both bust and arms. I returned that one and bought an XL. The arms surprised me, they don't leave a bit of room for someone with good muscle there. I am a hobby farmer and my arms tend to be well muscled in the bicep area - I could hardly bend my elbows without feeling I was going to split the sleeve seams. The XL is too big in the skirt but I can take it in very easily where the sides are. There is a bit of elastic there and a little tuck on each side is all that should be required and it will fit. I found that I had to roll the waist a bit to pull the length in front up to where it should be, it was a tad long on me. I thought about buying a custom size, but that doesn't account for arm size so I decided to try the standard sizes first. I will modify the skirt to fit properly and would suggest the custom sizing if you are short. For reference, I wear a size 10/12 usually, or size Medium US size, weigh 175-lbs give or take a few, have a 36C chest (getting a bit older and might be moving up to D size) and size 32-34" waist. Like another reviewer, I am probably going to replace the jacket zipper with hooks and eyes to be more authentic. The zipper is rather obvious. I found quite a few loose threads on the jacket that have to be trimmed. Also, in the XL, the neck size on the blouse is a bit too large. I could have it tailored, but I think it works well enough and so will leave it alone. I took some studio shots right out of the package, no adjustments to the dress and SOOC. Those are the XL dress. The outfit begs for the right shoes, a hat, a ladies pocket watch, and a cane to really set it off right. Be aware this is a warm outfit and best for cooler weather if you are going to wear it someplace. I am pretty happy with it over all, I just wish the arms were a bit looser.

Beautiful and fits perfectly I am 5.5 & 126 lbs. The small is perfect I didn't even have to wear a corset. I can not wait till Halloween 🎃.
