Direct repladcement for my Hayward SP3215 spa pump motor
This was a direct replacement for the original AO Smith motor for the Hayward SP3215Z2BE pump. The AOS part number is 7-K56AA14A04-05.

It's OK. I Guess.
This motor is a perfect replacement for my pool pump. Installation is as you would expect. If I go to the effort to replace the bearings before installation with quality Timken bearings, it runs very quiet. With the stock bearings, it is only sort of quiet. The trouble is, the starting coil fails right around the 2 year mark. I run the pump year-round, but I run it on low almost all the time. I expect longer lifespan from such a motor, but it is what it is, unfortunately.

Super Quiet Motor
Shopped around to replace my old motor and found this one. Paid a little more on Amazon just because the delivery time was shorter. It was delivered even before stated date 4th of July week. Fit perfect on my Jandi pump housing. Easy installation and quiet. I would recommend this.
