Up from Eden: A Transpersonal View of Human Evolution

This is a brilliant exposition of the development of human consciousness, using Genesis as a basis.. When Eve, decided to take the forbidden fruit/apple in the Garden of Eden, she consciously made a choice. In this sense, what happened in Eden was an "up" event, not a Fall. The book is not for/against any religion, it just strives to record briiliantly how human consciousness developed, using the Fall as its beginning.

Personal touch
Got this book in the condition described and was even thoughtfully wrapped in a local newspaper. :)Thank you.

POOR CONDITION
I didn't expect it to be in very good condition since it was such a low price - but the book looked a bit moldy and I worry that it may cause some allergic reaction. I wonder if you should be advertising books in that condition since some people have severe allergy problems. I haven't read it yet but will do that soon.

Ken Wilber!
Excellent book on transpersonal psychology. Highly recommended for those interested in both the evolution of consciousness and evolution of society (and how these two are intertwined).

Jargon
Jargon.I had high hopes for this one, but it's now available for 50 cents at our local public library book sale.

Up From Eden
Excellent book. Fascinating insights, for those who are searching for deeper answers, not for the superficial, brilliant insights.I pretty much agree with this almost 100%

Three Stars
Excellent insight and material but too scholarly for me; not an easy read at all

Interesting to re-read
Wilber's sweeping generalisations, while still engaging, are sounding a bit dated now, but I still enjoyed re-reading this book.

For the intellectually inclined .
Sorry to say that I hardly understood a word. And neither do I think you need to, in order to be a spiritual seeker.
