Bought as a Christmas gift for my 3-year old nephew. He loved it! Super cute and easy experiments that parents can help with.

The media could not be loaded.  My little scientist loved this! The bubbles had us giggling the whole time. I loved that this was a lot of fun science with some art projects too

Our toddler loves this chemistry set. Long after the ingredients were gone, our toddler still plays with the containers and mixing sticks/spoons in the bath and shower. The kit still looks as good as new. Highly recommended!

This was a super cute little set that my 4 year old really enjoyed. I'd suggest getting it mostly setup before having them sit down with you. My kid got a tad impatient while reading directions. But he enjoyed the fizzing and mixing of colors. We'll do the art work section next time.

I love everything from KiwiCo. Each kit is well thought out, educational, beautiful, and fun! This kit is perfect for ages 4 to 8, in my opinion. For a 4 year old, you would be doing all the reading and organizing and letting the child pour and mix. These are safe ingredients, so you don't have to worry about them touching anything or getting anything on their hands.The included book talks about the scientific method, has clear instructions, and an area to record the results of your experiments.My 8-year-olds were most excited about the included art project.I love how thoughtful all the details are. Like the paper that you dip in the colored water has tabs to hold it by. I also love the "mess mat." It's just slightly coated paper, but I love that it helps keep your little scientists organized. I also love that it includes EVERYTHING you need. You just need to add water! Don't throw away the tissue paper, you'll use it to lay your art on it to dry.Lastly, there are a couple of bonus projects on the last page to keep the fun and learning going after you finish all the projects in your kit. You can complete these with leftover materials from the lab, plus things you might have in your house already (like dish soap, lemon, raisins, an empty water bottle, vinegar, etc.)I love this kit for children 4 to 8. Fun, creativity, and learning, all in one convenient and well made kit.

My homeschooled kids tried a few KiwiCo boxes in the past. They seemed to enjoy this one. I asked them what they thought about it (we usually talk about things at the end of the day) and their response was that it was fun and educational.

These colorful chemistry set was so much fun. I even had fun doing it with the kids. They are safe to use for kids. The instructions are easy to follow and easy to do the project. The only thing was the citrus acid was really hard. I had to almost mortar and pastel it to be smooth since it was like a rock and was hard to break it up. Other than that, it was a really great project. And we even got to do cards so that was a nice memory to keep or gift the greeting cards to others. It was great quality and a good value for the money.

We are KiwiCo subscribers outside of this box so I knew the quality of this product would be excellent.The best part of this is that the kit includes everything but water. Too many products expect you to have X, Y, Z "household" products on hand but often I'm pulling this out when I'm at my wits end and just want it to work. This is that product.The mess mat is great and there's enough for multiple days of activities if you've got a patient kid.
