Very impressed
I was surprised how good this alarm is. I put the alarm in my hallway. And I've got solid pine doors. I shut the door just to try it out. Then on the keyfob I alarmed it and disarmed it worked perfectly through the pine door. I just wanted to see if it would arm and disarm through doors before I put it up on my shed door. Very impressed with this alarm. And well worth the money. Keyfob does what it's supposed to. Takes about 5 minutes to put it up. So if you do buy one you want be disappointed .Just one more thing on my shed door because it opens outwards the alarm had to be fitted on the door. So what I done was I just turned the alarm upside down so that the alarm was on the door frame not the door itself. And the alarm works just as good if the alarm is upside down

Loud enough to wake the dead
Was loud enough to annoy the neighbours when payback was needed for their ridiculous random hour parties. A strong 4am wake up call!! thumbs up.

Compact, neat and easy to use - but maybe not quite as loud as claimed.
This is the 3rd alarm I have bought in the last year for exactly the same purpose. The first was the one that seems most common when you search for a keypad shed alarm; a white unit with grey keypad and red panic button on the front going under many brand names. That one had a really useless keypad that kept selecting numbers twice so turning off the alarm was a lottery. The next one was a black and slightly more expensive unit called a Defender that looked to be exactly what I wanted with a good 1-4 keypad but that one had poor battery life and became quite unreliable when the batteries ran low - in particular it would seem to forget the selected unlock code despite still working enough to go off. And so now I'm onto my 3rd unit; the one I am reviewing here: Not a keypad alarm but this time a remote control alarm. For the price it is a compact, neat and nicely made device. It does all I need and seems to do it reliably. To my surprise the magnet from my old alarm did not work on this new alarm suggesting that maybe the magnet polarity or sensor are configured a bit differently. No big deal - it was just a surprise. It's uber easy to operate and has a few different modes although I only need the one that rings instantly when a door is opened. There are 4 volume levels available but on its highest setting I would not say that it achieves the 130dB claimed. My previous alarm was also rated at 130dB and that sounded louder than the one purchased. But I think it is still loud enough. Like all alarms of this type, they are pretty useless against a hammer and this one can even have the batteries removed (and thus deactivated) while it's sitting on the wall; so the idea would definitely be to mount it somewhere that is a little less accessible - which is difficult when the magnet sensor is integrated into unit rather than on a longer wire. But never mind. Better than nothing. If this one goes wrong like the others in the next 6 months I will come back and update this review. So far, so good.

Shed door alarm
Easy to set up, volume control allows you to check the alarm is working as it should with it going off as your close, comes with glue pads on to stick into place and has two remotes with batteries in, not the loudest at full volume but enough to put off thieves, a decent price for a shed alarm

Pleased with alarm
Works as described. No issues thus far. Of note, it does come with it's batteries. There were 2 AAA batteries in the alarm. Not sure what is in the remotes, but they came with the battery installed.

Gebruikt voor een garagebox. Prima kwaliteit. Of hij ook echt 130dB geluid maakt weet ik niet, maar het gaat wel hard.
