Came in a clear plastic tube . Boys love them as they don't like their drinks watered down. Good quality plastic cubes , good alternative to ice cubes. A great gift , something a little diferent.

I bought these to surround my summer weekend bottle of cider in my perspex champagne bucket whilst having an outside drink in the sun in order to keep it cool. They do help but I would need a few packets to work well meaning they are quite expensive for the job. However I have discovered that my wine drinking guests like to pop one into their, usually, large glass of wine just to give it a bit extra chill on our hot summer evenings. The advantage of course is that they do not melt, so they do not ruin the wine. My guests don't seem to mind the colours in the wine, they just enjoy a cold glass of plonk. They seem well made and fairly sturdy, no cheap sharp seams. They are not dishwasher proof, but I find that swirling them about in a bowl of warm soapy water, rinsed and left to dry on a clean tea towel does the trick, popping them into a freezer bag and into the freezer for the next time.

Great for what they are, they do seem to thaw a bit quicker than previous ones.

Quality ice cubes, easily washed and refrozen. Keep my drink bottle cold for several hours and nice cool water

They all have a fairly large bit of plastic sticking out on one side. I assume this is just left from the mould when making them but I find it really annoying. They don't lie flat and just look strange. You can't cut that piece off as then all the liquid leaks out from inside the cube

I was initially skeptical that these cubes would be better than good ol regular ice cubes, but I have come to preferring them over ice. I like that these reusable cubes don't carry any freezer taste that regular ice cubes can. I also like that they come in different colors- I tend to use the blue/green ones for coffee, and the rest of the colors for other beverages.. not that they retain any taste- I just like having them divvied out for different drinks :) The only thing that I'm not a fan of is that small plastic nub protruding out of them. I also think that one pack of these works well for one person (they fill up one pint glass' worth), but you would need a lot more if these if you trying to chill a lot of drinks all at the same time. Overall, I really love these ice cubes and use them daily!

The thing about making ice cubes is that they dilute your drink e.g. making your fizzy drink less fizzy or diluting squash. And, they don't last long. Plus, the water might be less than ideal. The beauty of re-usable is they do neither. They keep your drink colder for longer, easily washed and re-frozen and do not dilute your drink. I have used these time and again without any problems. Highly recommended

It took 3 days for the water inside the cubes to freeze, and it melts instantly when added to drinks. It doesn't make the drinks as cooler as regular ice cubes do. Not quite impressed.
