How thick is the hard tip? I'm looking for under 0.2mm.

You can get a really fine line with the very tip but it's a brush pen so it really depends on how you use it and may be difficult to maintain a super fine line across a stroke. I can recommend steadtler pigment liners for a consistently fine line though.

Hey! Would this smudge if used with alcohol markers?

Hi... I just tried it and no it did not smudge at all. These pens are the best I have found for cartoon/comic inking.

The hard tip seems a bit dry, the ink isn't going down as well as the other. Is there a way to improve this?

Not experienced this problem sorry . But you could try briefly dipping the tip in warm water . Also you might consider keeping it tip down in a pen pot to ensure the ink is at the tip end . Failing that you could ask for a replacement as it seems to be faulty .
