Trumpeter182 cm x 42 mm Two speed Turntable Display

I bought this table 'blind' in that I wanted to hack it about to provide power to an illuminated Sci-Fi model.Disassembly is easy. The parts are tough enough to work with and, after fitting some copper tape as slip rings and making up three sets of brushes to eliminate any power interruptions due to iffy contacts, fitting a 2.1mm DC connector, the job was done.The 1.5 volt motor at 'full speed' takes 30 seconds to make a complete revolution, A diode is switched in for the slower speed which is effective.Taking 2 off C cells in parallel (never a good idea to parallel up dry cells), I found several hours of use from ONE AA cell (same length as a C cell) though fitting one C cell is all that is required for domestic use, such as displaying a model at a show.The mirrored top is plastic. The two holes I drilled to bring my DC wires up to the surface tend to show but as I plan to overlay an additional platter for diorama uses, the mirrored plastic I will leave in place as it provides additional rigidity for the turntable.All in all, I shall most likely but at least one more as my Illuminated model collection grows.If I have any criticism, I would add three rubber feet, as the base has 5 points of contact with any surface so it will rock and slide about on some surfaces. Easily 5 stars.The image shows one of several of a tutorial on facebook, how to modify this table. The two LED's in shot are powered from an external 12 volts supply and the table is indeed rotating. The figure is all I had at the time to hold the LED's up.My bench is usually this messy.

This is just what I needed, there are many people saying the mirror finish is dull and scratched, this is not the case and it has a thin plastic film protecting the mirror. It is similar to any glass or plastic item you purchase, a new mobile phone for example. I cannot believe people cannot figure this out and are just giving it a one star rating. It looks like there is not a film on it but you have to use your nail to prise the edge off. (See attached photo). You will not find any scratches on the mirror surface. I have had it three years now and it is still working.

Bought one of these for doing some videos of china cups etc for my website. Very pleased with this however the mirror surface is a bit distorted and marks easily as it's made of plastic. I simply bought a glass circular mirror on Amazon (Round Mirror Plate (20cm) at £4.41) and plonked it on top. Even though I had to buy the mirror, I still think it's good value as the operation is smooth and quiet - much better than some others.

The media could not be loaded. pleasantly surprised how well this works. Not sure how long the C battery will last on standard Speed setting, but I will see how long it goes and update with my findings. Really adds a touch of class to my display. I will be getting another one. Might consider getting rechargable C batteries to save money.

The media could not be loaded. Really happy with this. I have a lot of Gundam Models on display and I like to display one on a stand to allow me to see all aspects of it. Search through lots of different stands and this one suits my needs perfectly. I don't switch it on all the time so battery power is fine. The speeds are perfect for Gunpla on stands and they don't wobble much when rotated. Very quiet and looks great for the price. Can't complain at all. You will need type C batteries to operate the turntable.Highly recommended if you want to display your models or anything else really.Low noiseGood battery lifeGood size platter.Mirrored top.Neat and tidy unit.

I use this product to showcase miniature models.For what I need it to do it does it well. I have had to use a cover for the reflective top however as it gets scuffed so easily. The quality of the unit is good but the top is terrible.It makes a minor whiring sound when turning but nothing unexpected.Overall good for what I need but needed adjustment(cover ontop)

No faults that I can see with it , Its a cheap one but does the job for me to show off my Product Enterprise SHADO 2 MOBILE from the series UFO . It comes with a clear covering of cling film to protect the mirror type top which I'm keeping on it . Takes 2 batteries but does actually run off 1. 2 speeds are available to use . As this is for personal use at home meaning not being used at model shows etc I couldn't say what the battery life is like. Also tried it with my Knight Rider cars (added blu tac to stop cars rolling off , my table wasn't level) and cos its black and matches the car and with its scanner going looks superb. At some point will get another one , Do I recommend it "Yes I do"

It is perfect for filming to make videos of the Bridal tiaras that I create, the movement shows off the sparkle beautifully. It seems sturdy and it is good that it has two speeds. The only reason I left off a star is because it makes rather a lot of noise, which you can hear on the videos so I had to add some music, which may make the video even better but I would prefer to have the choice.

Könnte schneller drehen aber ist sehr leise und ruckelt nicht und kann auch grössee Modell darauf stellen . Genial empfehle es für Ausstellungen aber auch privat
