TIGER MCA68-BK | Microphone Boom Stand | Mic Stand with Free Mic Clip | Black

Bought this stand specifically to hold a calibration microphone for my AV receiver, and it’s been spot on. The mic holder is snug and keeps the mic firmly in place without any wobble, which is exactly what you need for consistent measurements. Build quality is much better than I expected at this price — the stand feels solid and doesn’t tip or shift, even when fully extended. The height adjustment is smooth and precise, so it’s easy to dial in the correct mic position at ear level, whether I’m calibrating for seated or standing listening positions. For something that costs so little, it’s a no-brainer if you’re doing room correction with Dirac, Audyssey or similar systems. Does the job perfectly, and I’m glad I didn’t overpay for a more expensive model.

Good microphone stand, some parts were loose on arrival but nothing too hard to sort out yourself. It isn’t the sturdiest and stable however it also isn’t the worst. I guess if you just had a mic on it would be sturdy but I’ve mounted on a mic pop filter and a mic shield and a studio mic mound so that has added a lot of weight to the top. All in all a good product. Overall a 4/5

So I managed to get a really big hall booked to record my band and decided we'd lay down the basis of the songs live, I had stands for my drums but was two stands short to create live tracks. I ordered two of these not really expecting much just hoping that they'd hold up until we were done recording. The arrived the day after I ordered and the boxes weighed a ton. When I opened them I honestly couldn't believe the quality. They are absolutely solid. Made of some form of metal with minimal plastic parts. I ended up using the two stands I bought as my drum overheads because they can go extremely high, hold a lot of weight at that height and not tip over. As soon as I have a bit more money I intend to get another eight or so of these incredibly cheap, studio quality microphone stands, I cannot give enough praise to them.

For value for money you simply cannot go wrong with this mic stand! What ever your needs are ! I wanted this for use with the Razor Seiren X microphone and it fits perfect together ! Now when I make content I can have the mix closer to my face for much higher qaulity audio capture. The stand is of excellent quality, very strong and sturdy . It honestly fits my purpose 100% and I can guarantee it will satisfy your needs too. Why pay for something more expensive when this does the same job! And it just looks great too.

This stand is not great: it cannot hold heavy microphones, and it does not have sufficient weight to be relied upon for frequent usage. That being said, for the price this is acceptable. It does do its job, especially with lighter mics, and it's a lot sturdier than some other options I've used at this price bracket. I would, however, strongly encourage people to fork out an extra £10 for an OnStage stand, as they are of significantly superior quality and offer much more stability. If you can't afford that extra £10 though, this stand will work for basic applications, and it's certainly better than nothing. This stand was good enough that I chose not to return it, which says everything you need to know about it really. I will not be buying more as I can afford better options, but having an extra mic stand is always nice.

Overall the quality of the metal is very lightweight and I could not see this being used for professional use. Possibly okay for karaoke for home use whether wouldn’t be too much pressure on it. Very impressed with the quality of this mic stand. It's much heavier and more solid than I'd thought from the description. The instructions for putting it together are not very clear and it is possible to assemble it and then have a problem taking it apart. It is clearly designed to be set up permanently and will last forever. Amazing value for the price.

It seems well built, but it's very wobbly. It actually fell over a client even when it was secured with a sandbag (wrong end, apparently needs several sandbags to be secure). It's decent and does the job if you need something cheap to use once in a while...but on its own it's not stabile while holding a mic and a mic cord. In other words, it kind of does the job but is not to be trusted. For the current price, it's decent. Edit = just changed it from 3 stars to 1 star...apparently they almost doubled the price since the time I purchased it. At the new price point, it's trash.

La verdad es que estoy encantado con el stand, el brazo es bastante grande, así que si piensas usarlo en un lugar con poco espacio, deberías tener en cuenta las medidas. Me anime a comprarlo a pesar de que no había apenas referencias, solo encontré un video en youtube y me pareció lo suficientemente bueno como para arriesgarse, y la verdad que ha merecido la pena. Se le ve robusto y estable, yo lo uso principalmente con un micrófono condensador con pop (Rode nt1) en mi home studio, la duda que tenia era si iba a poder aguantar bien el peso, pues he visto que algunos stands baratos no consiguen mantenerse fijo mucho tiempo cuando el brazo esta completamente extendido. Después de haberlo probado varios días no he tenido ningún problema, es bastante solido y aguanta el peso sin problemas, lo he dejado incluso varios días con el micrófono colocado para ver si cedía, y no lo ha hecho se quedo tal como lo dejé. Asi que en mi opinion merece una buena puntuación, la relación calidad / precio es muy buena.
