F&G Supplies Spitfire complete vintage model airplane rubber-powered balsa wood aircraft plane kit that really flies!

Bought for my husband who thought it was great to make

Laser cutting of parts made them easy to remove from balsa sheets. I bought a cork post board to lay out the plans. My grandson is delighted with the project. Not for a complete novice but great wet day activity with our combined age of 83!

This is a fantastic kit with excellent drawings and instructions. My advice before starting is to read both the booklet and study the plan in detail and make sure you have all the bits needed. I have not completed the model but have a fusilage, wing assembly and tailplanes ready for the next stage. Well done Vintage models

Would have been five stars but no helpful instructions and the prices aren't marked as per the guidelines ,he's enjoying making it but finds it very frustrating without detailed instructions or markings of some kind,and the discriptiion said everything included but no paint for the markings and no dope glue for the paper

I have not started to build my plane yet but it looks like a fun build. I have built a lot of RC airplanes but I wanted to build a small balsa plane. This is a non RC plane. I must admit the instructions are too small and not very good. They do have built videos on YouTube but not of this model. I would advise the manufacturer to have build videos for every model they produce. If someone has not built an old school balsa plane they might get confused on how to build. Make it more clear on what glue to use. They provide glue but on some balsa models they use a CA glue.

Les pièces sont très fragiles et se cassent à la moindre manipulation. Article de très mauvaise qualité, impossible à monter.

La relación calidad precio es buena, pero hay que tener un mínimo de experiencia en modelismo. No hay ningún tipo de instrucciones en castellano, los planos son muy completos, y en youtube puedes encontrar algún vídeo del fabricante, pero son más de tipo comercial que practicó. Aún así he disfrutado mucho montandolo.

La notice étant entièrement en anglais, il faut soit bien connaitre cette langue ou être expérimenté pour monter cette maquette. Toutes les pièce sont pré-découpées. J'aurai aimé que les références soient inscrites sur les pièces, mais avec un peu d'organisation, on s'en sort.

Extremely frustrating product, flimsy to the extreme that you can barely put any pressure while assembling it without breaking it. The entire fuselage weighs about 20 grams, parts crack extremely easy, very, very frustrating, not enjoyable at all. End product is somewhat appealing, but it takes a lot of sanding and tweaking and reinforcing to make it acceptable. Price is not right, I expected a lot more for what I paid. Had to finish the build since my 9yo son was very excited to see it fly, however, after this much work on this extremely weak model, I prohibited him to fly it, it would definitely not withstand the simplest crash without breaking into million pieces, that weak this thing is. Unacceptable.
