Really helped with colic and tummy discomfort
Colief drops were great help when our baby had colic back in 2022.They made milk much easier for our baby to digest and reduced crying after feeds. For the first time parents it was overwhelming to deal with baby's other health issues and colic on the top. It worked like magic for our baby. After the use of colief drops she was a happy baby again. Worth the price for the relief it gives.A helpful product for colicky babies.

Amazing
These have worked brilliantly for us I only wish I tried them sooner. My baby suffered from severe trapped wind particularly in the early hours of the morning where she just couldnโt sleep on her back and had to be held. Infacol and gripe water didnโt touch the side. She is combi fed so we switched to a comfort formula and use these drops for breast feeding. They will only work if lactose is the issue, which it seems it is for us. Itโs not 100% cured it but itโs a lot better and I am hoping she will grow out of the rest soon (currently 3m old). They are a faff to give but itโs worth it !!!

Expensive, but it helps!
My newborn baby was suffering terribly with colic. We tried all of the over the counter colic drops etc, but none worked! This product is expensive, however I have seen an improvement with my sons colic. He doesn't scream for long periods as he did before, he still gets a little trapped wind and fussiness, but these drops have definitely helped stop the inconsolable crying. It might not work for all babies, but I can say this has definitely improved my baby's discomfort with colic. I would recommend this product.

My newborn has struggled with painful trapped wind and explosive nappies since day 3
Expensive but worth it. My newborn has struggled with painful trapped wind and explosive nappies since day 3, and was screaming non-stop from 10pm until 3, 4 even 5am. We're now giving Colief before every feed, which is a bit of a faff with a hungry, breastfed-on-demand baby, but he is much more comfortable and everyone in the house is getting a little more rest. We're using in combination with Infacol, which helps him to burp, and Windis to help with the more stubborn and uncomfortable nappies. Colic and sleep deprivation is no joke! UPDATE: Our little one is now 10 weeks old and has been off Colief for about 2 weeks. We adjusted our breastfeeding routine as it seemed there was more milk than my baby could cope with. This meant he was gulping milk down, resulting in more wind and discomfort. I also suspect (and a LA Leche League lactation consultant agreed) that baby was getting too much of the lactose-rich foremilk. So we began nursing on one side for two feeds, then switching to the next side for the next two feeds (block feeding). I also cut all dairy from my diet in the advice of my GP. You should definitely take advice from LLL, a HV or GP before you do any of this, and you must be vigilant about the risk of mastitis with block feeding, but it did the trick for us. Our baby is still an extremely fussy, clingy, wakeful baby (joy!) but he no longer screams for hours on end, and when he does finally fall asleep at night, he sleeps for 8 hours solid. Still won't nap though! Answers on a postcard, please, from anyone who can fix that little problem :-)

Great product
Great product to help colic babies. Started using straight away when born (1st child suffered badly so not waiting and making that mistake again). Definitely helps them pass wind. I found this works better than infacol

Works very well
Brilliant stuff, works well and out of three children the third time round we have had little to no issues. Evenings are more settled and less fussy. Does make stools very loose though so reduced from 4 to 3 drops per bottle.

Worked instantly and settled baby
Worked instantly! Our premature baby developed silent reflux and colic at about 1 month old. Our health visitor suggested we tried Colief after Infacol hadn't worked and she was not old enough for gripe water. We tried these drops in bottles of expressed breast milk and also using a syringe when she breastfed. Colief worked instantly and we found she stopped crying and was able to bring her wind up a lot better which meant she was more settled. Now we're 2 months on and we're weaning her off it. She is down to one drop (from 4 drops) in each feed and is coping well. I was not able to get this on prescription so when I found Amazon to have the best price (I looked everywhere) we bought two 15ml bottles. We used three 15ml bottles in 2 months - this can be achieved by using 2 drops if the feed is more than 4 hours away. I'd add 2 drops to freshly expressed milk, leave for 20 mins then put the bottle in the fridge. I also used 4 drops occasionally such as when breastfeeding or for an immediate bottle feed. If you use the 4 drops given for an immediate feed then you'll use it up quicker. The instructions state to express a small amount of milk on a sterile spoon add the drops and then give to baby then breastfeed as normal. I expressed a few drops of milk into a small sterile container, added the drops, then used a sterile 1ml syringe to suck up the solution and feed to baby. It worked well. If bottle feeding breast milk or formula then you can just add to the bottle of milk.
