Hi-lift looks tough on the Hood!
I got this knowing that the hi-lift would probably block some of the windshield spray which it does, but after having my tire carrier crack I figured a little less weight on it wouldn't hurt. I installed it with the base on the passenger side and the handle towards the front which allowed the most spray to hit the windshield. It didn't take long to install as the hood mounts come with very detailed instructions with color pictures. You do need a t50 torx, a couple hex / Allen wrenches and an adjustable wrench or 5/8 open end wrench. I went to install it but couldn't find my t50 torx bit that I thought I had, so I went and got one and after getting the hi-lift installed I found it right where I put it so I wouldn't forget where I put it. Overall I am happy with it. It could have had a little more thought put into the design so that it wouldn't block any of the spray but it does what it's supposed to do plus makes the jeep look way tougher.UPDATE: While driving, the wind seems to push the washer spray down just enough to mostly miss the hi-lift. Very little actually hit the hi-lift while traveling at 55mph.

Good mounts
I like this mount a lot. My only problems are that they could be a little taller, and have better finish. My jack hits my hood if itโs handle towards the front of the jeep, or I canโt use my windshield washers if the handle is towards the windshield. I live in New Mexico currently and itโs pretty warm most of the time and the black finish on them turned into a copper color the week I installed them. I think it looks kinda cool though๐๐ผ

Great quality, just needs to be a little taller.
Easy installation. High quality. The only issue I have is that it poses two problems. First requires that you face the handle towards the windshield, otherwise the tongue of the jack will hit your cowel when you raise the hood. The problem here is that the mechanisms on the jack are all facing down towards the hood and they will rub if you don't use some form of spacers. The bigger issue is that it almost completely blocks the windshield sprayer. To fix that you need to order this. https://www.amazon.com/Warrior-Products-1575-Windshield-Relocation/dp/B00D6DWHNG It is money well spent. It adds about 30 minutes to your install, but it works like a charm. With the two products together, $2.00 in washers and $2.00 for a bolt to keep the mechanism of the jack from sliding it becomes a 5 star set up.

This is a Hi-lift banded mount that works well for ...
This is a Hi-lift banded mount that works well for mounting my jack on my hood, however, on my 2013 Rubicon, the jack sits directly in the path of my windshield washer sprayers now. The only cleaner that actually hits my windshield is whatever drips off the jack and blows toward it. That prevents me from using this mount unless I'm on completely dry trails. Also, the way the instructions tell you to mount it is the handle facing the windshield, and the base on the driver side. This puts the largest part of the jack right in front of the driver, which isn't exactly ideal if you need to see what is right in front of you. It can be flipped around so the base is on the passenger side and the handle faces forward, but no mater what, it is still blocking my sprayers.

stupid easy to install and well worth the money
(15 JKUR) jeep peeps, if you buy this, pair this with hi-lift's locking knob for ease-of-mind (anti-theft). Install takes 10 min... remove old hood screws, replace with new ones in kit, done. I'd say its a 1-beer job but just knock that beer out first or after as the install is very quick and self-explanatory.being in a highly-mod'd jeep, i havnt noticed any extra wind-noise from this mod. i would not recommend this mod for shorter drivers who also use their jeep as a daily driver as it does impair some vision. im taller and sit higher (6'1") and my line-of-sight of what i can see begins at the very tip of my hood. That said, my jeep is a beast and fears nothing.

Good product, great look, but severe functional flaws...
This is a well made product, when the jack is mounted on this, it enhances the bad-ass look of the Jeep, but there are a few flaws., which are significant in my opinion -1. The mount is not high enough - no matter which orientation you mount the jack in - with the handle towards the windshield or away, this WILL block your windshield fluid jets from hitting the windshield2. If you mount with the handle away from the hood, this is the only position that allows most of the water / fluid to reach the glass, only a part of it gets blocked HOWEVER3. In that position, if you open up the hood, the lip of your jack WILL leave you a nice little dimple on the cowl panel because there is not enough clearance4. You can try to put spacers or something to raise the height, but that will mean you dont have enough thread left to fasten it fully...

Best windshield sprayer blocker on the market
This product works as advertised. It cleanly and effectively mount a Highlift Jack to the hood of your jeep without any damage. So if you are looking for a mounting option that completely blocks the Windshield fluid sprayer so that absolutely no fluid gets on your windshield and hold a jack in place this is the product for you. In fact it blocks the windshield wiper sprayer so effectively I would give it 6 stars if that was possible. In the long run this product will pay for itself. Just think of all the money you will save on wiper fluid.

Overall awesome product
Giving a 4 star. First it's great quality, no plastic parts Like I thought it was going to be they are made of medal. Second looks awesome and makes my 2008 Jeep JK look more rugged. There are 2 things that concern me, first there is no way to lock it to your hood or at least that I can see. Second the windshield washer nozzle does get blocked a little but still hits the windshield so not to big of a deal. The windshield does get blocked a little but you honestly get use to it.

Good, functional - but Hi-Lift on hood blocks windshield washer spray
Good, functional - but Hi-Lift on hood blocks windshield washer spray. (They are cool hood ornaments - I painted them bright orange, my Rubi is black - when I'm running around town and the Hi-Lift is in the garage :->) I will replace with a bumper mount once I upgrade my rear bumper.

Does its Job, low security even with locking knob on top.
Positives: Aluminum construction that appears cnc milled. Feels high quality. Hardware installs perfectly and protects factory paint.Cons: came with a few scratches. Also, the hardware uses a standard allen wrench and it should really be Torx for added security. I bought this with the locking knob for added security but then the hardware is standard so that's not ideal.
