Absolutely!!
I like them!! I would describe them as not having a very distinctly unique tone character. They are very smooth, and "clean" (with gain), and fit into a mix almost too well (may or may not be what you want). I'd say the bridge is a brilliant rhythm pickup. The neck is fine, but I just don't use neck pickups too often. They can play clean sounds perfectly, as well. I'd call them a tonally average, and even-tuned set of pickups (not too bassy, not too bitey, etc.), that blow a lot of competition out of the water due to the ridiculously low price. Make no mistake, they are LEGIT, full-blown mighty pickups that rival top brands!

Great sound, great value
I got a steal of a deal on a volgoa guitar off amazon late last year, but unfortunately it had microphonic pickups which meant no high gain. I found these randomly on amazon and thought 'why not' since it was only 20 bucks. Plus they looked cool and had great reviews.Theye amazing value, not microphonic. Neck pickup is super hot, and playing pinch harmonics are extremely satisfying. The coil split makes it so only the rail outputs, and it's got that twang/quack that more expensive pickups have. Also, the wiring diagram that came with made soldering these a breeze. sometimes you don't get diagrams and you have to guess what the hot wire is.My guitar has a mini toggle that allows me to split the humbuckers separately, and the SH and HS combinations also sound great.overall, I am impressed.

Very good pickups
Look i'm not going to say that these are as good as name brand pickups, because they're not, but they are good pickups when you're on a budget .. I would say these are on par or maybe slightly better than stock pickups, they definitely look cooler too. I bought these for an Ibanez RGA42FM, I actually got the guitar used with no pickups and didn't want to spend a lot to get it up and running. These pickups actually sound pretty good, I installed them on a 5 way switch.. The split sounds sound bright and a bit thin to me but the humbucker tones are full and sound good through my amp sims. They're fairly clear and aggressive but not overly.. overall i'm satisfied with the sound.. the biggest downside for me is that these don't feel so solidly built. They seem a little delicate to me in comparison to higher priced pickups.I installed these directly mounted with foam underneath them, since the pickup was slightly sitting at a weird angle I pressed them down a little to straighten them and some of the pickup's hex pieces starting popping out the top. So treat them gently .

High Output, Heavy Crunch, Forget Cleans
These pickups are hot, crunchy, and very full sounding. They are not thin and fizzy nor are they suited towards clean sounds (in my opinion). I would most closely liken them to Dimarzio Super Distortion humbuckers. I also use Wilde by Bill Lawrence XL500L and these humbuckers are in the same neighborhood as those as well. In fact this pickup is something like a combination of a Dimarzio Super Distortion and the XL500L. Thicker in the mids than a Seymour Duncan JB or a PAF for sure. Great for metal, punk, and heavy rock. Despite the output, the pickups are very quiet, they do not squeal or get out of control like an unpotted PAF might. For the cost these pickups are insane but even if these were the same cost as Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan, these would compare favorably. Very highly recommended.

these pickups are awesome
i dont play metal but i wanted a guitar for it anyways so i put these in a donner dmt 100 (.....not easy to do because the donner had a prewired thing in it) and they sound amazing. these pickups are awesome, they make me question how i could have ever bought 100$ pickups before.. but the donner/pickups combo is really good, i also put a humbucker sized p90 in the neck just for laughs and it blends really well with these pickups, so less than 20$ worth of pickups in the guitar and i have the most versatile guitar i own.

Strong pickups
They pick up all of the tones. You can hear the individual string when playing a full chord.

Hot pickups
I got these to replace the silver humbuckers that came in the Leo jaymz headless guitar kit. Those pickups didn't look or sound right. These look right and sound great. They're definitely trying to replicate a Seymour Duncan sound. $20 is worth the gamble. The hot rail sound is so smooth and the adjustable poles allows to customize how hot you want it. I drilled out the screw holes and mounted the pickups with a quarter inch tapered spring(the screws and springs supplied are for mounting rings) and screwed it directly to the body in the pickup cavity with a self-tapping pan head.

One trick pony with a good trick
The media could not be loaded. High gain, super quiet at idle for passive pickups. Lots of bottom and low mids. VERY punchy, but they can do clean well enough. Not much for versatility or chime. I did a split coil setup, and now I'm not sure it was worth the effort. They only do a few things, but they do them well for the price. Metal and Jazz are easy sounds to dial in, as well as 70's classic rock. For country and surf, that's a maybe. Worth the money if that's what you're after.

Sound great for the money.
I put these into a partscaster that I slapped together and was quite impressed with the tone. I did however repot them before I installed them, just in case.

Very bright.
It depends on personal taste.Volume was great but they were way too bright for my liking..I would have preferred them a little warmer.I tried fitting 250K pots and 47uh caps but they were still too bright.May suit some people.
