Q: Is this suitable for vegans?

Vegan Chitosan comes from Mycelium Aspergillus n1ger which is a fungus. (Amazon wouldn't let me write the 'i' as apparently it makes my post offensive - I didn't classify this organism Amazon!!! and that isn't how you spell the word you're thinking of). It is definitely vegan and is important people who are allergic to shellfish as well as vegans.

Q: Does this serum contains alcohol?

Why is this person saying witch hazel contains alcohol? If it contained alcohol it would say in ingredients and I use witch hazel which doesnt contain alcohol. Some witch hazel do, but if it did in this retinol serum it would say in ingredients.

Q: Is it cruelty free and vegan?

Not sure it is vegan. The product packaging says it contains Chitosan which is usually from shellfish. This is not mentioned in the listing along 'plant based ingredients'. I called the manufacturer, who could not say over the phone, just that 'all the products are vegan' but couldn't tell me how Chitosan was vegan - asked me to email the query in. I sent the email and received confirmation my enquiry had been logged - but nothing after that. I think the silent treatment has undermined my trust - I will be sending the product back. It isn't vegan if it contains shelfish extracts.. and without any further explanation rom the manufacturer I am not convinced they even know where it comes from.

Q: Can you apply mouisturiser afterwards? If so how long after applying the serum?

Well i do , I apply at night after cleansing . Then clean teeth while it dries then either put facial oil or moisturiser on . It’s been fine , I’ve only used a couple of weeks but no problems. Hope this helps Gt
