Great for my Bialetti morning Coffee
**Perfect Addition for My Bialetti Morning Coffee: KitchenCraft Gas Ring Reducer Trivet Review**I recently added the KitchenCraft Gas Ring Reducer Trivet for Gas Hobs to my kitchen setup, and it's been a fantastic addition, especially for making my morning coffee with my Bialetti stovetop espresso maker.**Design and Build Quality:**The trivet is made of galvanized iron and has a simple yet functional design. The 12 cm diameter is perfect for my needs, and the silver finish gives it a sleek look that fits well with my kitchen appliances. It feels sturdy and durable, providing a stable platform for small pots and coffee makers that might otherwise wobble on standard gas hobs.**Ease of Use:**Using the trivet is incredibly straightforward. It sits securely on the gas burner, reducing the size of the flame ring to better accommodate smaller cookware. This has been particularly useful for my Bialetti espresso maker, which needs a steady and controlled heat source. The trivet is easy to place and remove, and it cleans up well with just a wipe down after use.**Functionality:**The primary function of this trivet is to provide stability for smaller pots and coffee makers, and it performs this role excellently. It ensures that my espresso maker heats evenly, preventing any tipping or uneven boiling. This has made a noticeable difference in the consistency and quality of my coffee. The trivet distributes the heat more evenly, which helps in brewing a perfect cup every time.**Compatibility:**This trivet is highly compatible with most gas hobs. I have used it on several different burners, and it fits perfectly on each one. The design is universal enough to work with various gas stove models, making it a versatile addition to any kitchen.**Price and Value:**Considering its functionality and build quality, the KitchenCraft Gas Ring Reducer Trivet is reasonably priced. It offers excellent value for money, especially if you regularly use smaller pots or stovetop coffee makers. The improvement in stability and heat distribution is well worth the modest investment.**Conclusion:**The KitchenCraft Gas Ring Reducer Trivet for Gas Hobs is an essential tool for anyone who uses smaller pots or stovetop coffee makers on a gas stove. It offers sturdy support and ensures even heat distribution, making it perfect for my Bialetti espresso maker. Its durable construction and ease of use make it a valuable addition to any kitchen. If you're looking for a way to enhance your stovetop brewing experience, this trivet is a great choice.

Useful for the Moka.
Not the easiest to clean as a little sharp, but fits all the hobs perfectly. Heavy duty and holds Moka pot big and small, also works very well on a camping stove, meaning I can have good quality coffee in the middle of a field. A one and done purchase.

Works practically but aesthetics not good.
Sits on the hob and does the job. But, and maybe I’m too OCD, It would be nicer aesthetically if the struts lined up with the hob bars. Unfortunately the tabs to locate it are located so it looks like its skewed (photo 1) and if you try second best at 45 degrees it also doesn’t quite line up and looks skewed too (photo 2). Would be easy to get it right. Apart from that (marked down one * for it, it does the job just fine.

Prevents toppling pans and moka pots
My gas hob has a worrying design fault whereby pans, if not positioned perfectly in the centre, tend to tip over and spill their hot contents over the hob - and sometimes me. A particular problem with pans that have a large, heavy handle. I recently stayed in an apartment in Italy where they had a gadget similar to this one, for standing moka pots on. So I bought this. It’s perfect for moka pots and has stopped the issue with toppling pans. The fact that it’s aluminium is a positive: it’s light, won’t rust and conducts heat faster than steel. Inevitably it has turned white due to oxidation - but to me that’s not an issue. I like the aesthetic of worn, used things. And it’s a great price.

When a smaller gas job is needed!
Personally I found the need for this item as I had a small coffee pot that wasn’t large enough to sit itself on the gas ring. This item allowed me to rest my pot atop the smaller rings that sat perfectly in place atop the cooker own large gas ring allowing me to make my nice stong morning coffee to shake the cobwebs off! Very handy item!
