Nice useful bit of running kit
The media could not be loaded. I’ve just really started this running thing at age 51. I do 5k on a morning 4-5 times per week. I do have a phone arm band, but wanted a bit of water on board as well. I don’t actually drink while running, but I normally try to do a 1-2 mile cool down walk afterwards, and this is when I drink. I haven’t any experience of hydration belts, but this one really seems good to me. I did have it bounce on me on the first run, but that was because id tested it with empty bottles. When the bottles are full there’s the extra weight. All it took was an adjustment on the elastic belt and it’s fine. You don’t actually really feel the belt, and I can’t say I feel to sweat more from wearing it. I have an iPhone 6 Plus in a case and this just fits into the pocket. It is a tight squeeze, and there isn’t room for anything else, but that suits me fine. The bottles are nice and tight in the holders and also have a small elastic secondary grip to make sure they don’t go astray. I ran in a massive storm the other morning, and everything stayed nice and dry, so it is waterproof. I did try a phone armband before, but my phone got wet with the sweat, but with this it is bone dry. All in all a great bit of kit, and well worth the money

Belting
A good product, that after initial use seems well made.As a male, with a size 32 waist this belt has to be done up to its tightest to fit. The pocket is large enough for an iphone 5, ipod nano and door key. There is a small internal pocket within the main pocket to store the key to stop scratching phones. I would not trust any running belt to be waterproof enough for electricals and would suggest putting electrical items within a plastic or sandwich bag first. The water bottles do not have the best tops and do leak slightly, if not tightened to the point of snapping the thread. I use this item on runs between 10-15 miles and if worn above the hip bones the fit is good and does not interfere with my running dynamic. At around £15 its worth a punt and might give you the confidence to run further than you normally do unequipped.

Highly Recommend
The material is like a stretchy neoprene that fits really comfortably as the entire belt stretches for a secure fit. I've worn this on a few long runs so far and there absolutely no bounce at all. There are some rubber dots on the inside that help stop the belt from slipping or bouncing, and the 250 ml water bottles are held in by an elastic tab that flips over the drinking spout. The access to the bottles is quick and easy. I am a women's UK size 10 and the belt is adjusted as tight as possible, so if you are any smaller you may find it won't fit as snug as you may need. I like the belt far better than carrying a water bottle in my hand while on longer runs as it keeps my body in better balance, plus I can put my keys and some gels in the pocket.

Great belt, poor bottles
I purchased this for my wife who was delighted with it for the first week. Unfortunately, by the second week, the water bottles started to leak, leaving her uncomfortably damp. The belt itself is excellent - extremely comfortable and well balanced, with a pocket that's perfect for carrying her iPhone. Sadly, the same is not true for the bottles that come with it. The lid is not a good enough fit and they are not designed to be leak-proof.

Perfect long run belt
This great belt got me through my first half marathon. Plenty of room for gels, bars and two small bottles for hydrationIt’s tight to get the bottles out but that’s what you want. You don’t want bottles to fall out on a long run. It’s light, adjustable and soon forgotten about its weight.Caps of the bottles seem to be ok and lasting without leaking. The zipped pocket will also easily fit a modern smartphone

Great, comfortable running belt.
The belt is very comfortable, and has a sizeable pocket at the back that could fit a (large) gel, my phone, and some cash. The only problem is that the belt did tend to loosen slightly as I was running - I had to tighten the straps maybe 3 times during a 10k run. I think this could be easily solved, however, by tacking the belt into place with some thread. The positive aspects of the belt are that it is comfortable, lots of space for storing things, sits well just above my hips, and is balanced with water on both sides. The bottles that come with the belt are very user-friendly, and easy to get back into their holders while running. I'd definitely recommend this product to others.

It's no good
Today I have been forced to update my review. Very cold this morning so I put on a base layer thermal top. Over which I put on the Protone belt. 10 miles later when I got back home, the black dye from the belt had bled into the white fabric of the top. (See photo) This is just not good enough, why would you create a product that is not fit for purpose. If I could I would send it back, please, please, please think twice before purchasing such a ill made product.I was looking for a running belt that would let me carry water, phone, card, and keys, and still be stable. And this belt does the job, it is very light and very stable. And yet, the belt has made a mess of my running top. The silicone studs that keep the belt stable have punctured through the fabric of the running top and the black dye in the belt has bled out into the running top. I guess in a hot climate the belt would be great as you could wear it close to your skin. In London in the cold early mornings this is not an alternative and as such, given the amount of damage the belt has done to my running top, I would have to recommend staying away from the belt.

I have used it now on a couple of long runs and it is an easy and comfortable way to carry water
The product is OK and functional, I have used it now on a couple of long runs and it is an easy and comfortable way to carry water. The stitching has started to come undone on one of the bottle holders and required stitching after having used it only three times. I would have expected it to last a little longer than this and this does not give me confidence of its durability over time.
