It's actually closer to 2+umf. The 30 refers the mgo, and anything under 83mgo is less than 5umf.

No anti-bacterial strength! It's a big scam this. Google it. Proper Manuka honey has to say UMF on it to be proper lab-tested for its medicinal benefits. Nelsons and other companies getting into trouble for selling misleading products like this. They stick a number like "30+" on it but they don't say "UMF" which means it's just a meaningless number!! They're all making a killing over this. Look at it, you'd never ever buy proper 30+ UMF manuka honey for a tenner. It's ridiculously cheap, and that's cause it's not the real thing! it is very nice honey, however i feel it is much to cheap to be 20+ or what ever it states it is manuka honey, i would think 5+ at best
