Will this work with a HDD enclosure

It will work with a enclosure that has a sata interface,will also work with laptops playstation 3 and so on but not xbox one unless in a usb 3.0 enclosure but not in a xbox 360

If you want to add drive in addition to the existing laptop drive, then this is no good. You will need a SATA M.2 drive.

What size mounting screws do i need with this hdd please? i have an asus tuf fx505, but my hard drive mount doesnt have any screws.

Sorry I don't know. I bought mine as a direct replacement so I used the old screws. I would say 2mm diameter, 4mm long

Would this work in a PS4 slim?

Hello Paul. I do not know much about the PS4, but found this info on-line: "The PS4 uses a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive, the kind generally used in laptops or super-slim external drives rather than desktop computers. It also needs to be under 9.5mm tall thanks to the size of the caddy that lives inside the PS4, which protects the drive and keeps it in place." I purchased the Hitachi HDD as it was a perfect replacement for the virtually identical one that failed in my MacMini, which needed to have the slimmer form factor (7mm). Hope this helps.
