For the price, a fun product, not built to be used at any professional standard but a nice beginner's tool.

Bought to access a key safe . Which I did. But the metal picks were a very tight squeeze for this brand of combination wheel.Well made and sturdy.

Detachable wrench very clever. Quite sturdy.

My sole gripe is that it's not a particularly sturdy piece; I mangled the rake instantly.However, it did what I needed it to do and got me out of a bind.Further, I only had it handy because of it's discreet and elegant form, which is what sets it apart in my opinion; this is an entire pickset that can fit in a pocket, car compartment etc and be forgotten about until needed. Indispensable.

As an amateur lock picker i looked at this as an ideal all in one solution to be able to carry with me anywhere i might need it. Though upon receipt of this i am sorely disappointed. Not enough to send it back, i think it could be a handy tool to keep in certain situations but i wouldn't recommend this to anyone really, and here's why;the thing as a whole looks great, the surface finish on the housing is beautiful, but there are too many sharp edges for a consumer, just using the locking lug i have taken the skin off of my thumb and forefinger a few times within 24 hours because the housing near this lug is sharp and easily catches finger skin as well as the opening where the picks lie. to these i have taken a deburring tool and managed to make it a lot safer.with regards to the locking lug, this lug is not sufficient to keep the picks in place. Whilst picking you will find all the picks not in use will flap around with any sort of movement. it also fails to secure the pick that is in use. to solve this problem i placed a small piece of rubber under the lug and replaced the lug, now i find the tool as a whole is much better.Unfortunately the picks are far too flimsy for me, i am a rather heavy handed picker and usually use picks that are 0.75mm thick, these are 0.5mm thick and not made of a strong material so feel far too flimsy and actually cause me trouble when picking.on a positive note the tension tool is of good quality material and a thickness close to 0.75 mm so is a fairly useful tensioning tool but if you are looking for something for an experienced picker, something to replace your current picks or a quick and easy tool to use then this is not the tool for you.

If you check out some video’s on what the best shape picks are to have in your kit, this contains 6 of them! The tension tool is a little on the narrow side to reliably fit the locks I have tried it with so far but it’s not a deal breaker. The picks are very thin but very strong, it feels like a quality bit of kit, I picked the side door to my garage in 30 seconds with this, good thing it’s bolted on the inside!! I’m super happy with this tool and would highly recommend it, that said, always make sure to tighten the thumb screw really well if you carry this on your keys as it could easily vibrate lose and drop out, but for the price, form factor and pick selection, I give it gets top marks.

Having recently taken up lock-picking as a pastime I saw this compact little tool and decided to give it a try to supplement my main kit.It has everything you need to pick most cylinder door locks and padlocks. The six fold-out picks are small and very thin but seem strong and tough enough for the job. The removable torsion lever is also sturdy as well as being longer and wider than the others that I own, making it easier and more comfortable to use and less likely to slip out of the keyhole.I've only used this tool on a transparent practice lock so far but it's been very effective at opening it quickly, on one occasion the lock popped open in less than five seconds!My only complaint is about the locking screw which is meant to hold your chosen pick in place and prevent it from wiggling about, but it has a tendency to loosen itself in use and needs to be retightened --- not a huge problem just a minor irritation.The body of the tool looks well made and has a hole at one end so it can be attached to a key ring, for example.This might get me out of a pickle one day.
