OtterRod Holder

Works well and bolts right on to the existing frame. I never had an issue with it loosening up as others have noted. Kind of expensive but it makes ice fishing a little easier.

Great product. Very convenient when in the ice house I have the otter lodge xt1200 and the work out perfect!!! Rod slides in and out of there with ease! My only complaint it's the nuts and bolts they send with it are junk broke 2 when putting them on. Went and bought grade 8 stuff and put thread lock on everything so it won't vibrate loose and it's good to go!!! Use the blue medium strength thread lock so you can loosen if needed. That seemed to solve the problem that people have had with it loosening and falling off

Works great, not to long or to short. Well made, but feel it’s pricing reflects the otter logo. Could easily be copied if you had extra material from prior shop projects. If not then this is the way to go

I have an otter shanty and two of these rod holders and they just don't work very well. The joint in the middle comes loose a lot and it has to be tightened with a screw driver. Where the rod holder attaches to the sled is hard to tighten and doesn't stay tightened very well either. The amount of adjustability for distance is not that great either.

The rod holder was easy enough to mount but I was constantly having to re-tighten the nuts where the swing arm bends and where the arm pivots on the mount itself. I suppose if a guy wanted to use a pliers to reef those nuts down every time you used it that that would help but I have not bothered to try it. In the end, I went another route with a different style rod holder.
