Bird B Gone MMTBG 10 oz Transparent Bird Gel - Clear

This product is brilliant as we have had lots of trouble with Pidgeon's on our roof nesting under the solar panel's. I contacted lots of companies regarding getting rid of them to no avail. Some wanted between £400 - £1600 to remove them and prevent them returning. We were sick of the constant scratching and cowing they were making. AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! So when I see this product with the acclaimed right up recommendations I decided to purchase some. I was not disappointed it does exactly what it says it stops the pigeons landing on the roof as the gel being permanently soft it sticks to their feet, so that when they take flight the gel then sticks to their body giving them what is only to be described as applying DEEP HEAT On. IT WORKS THERE IS NO MORE SCRATCHING, NESTING, PLUS NO MORE DEFFICATION TO CLEAR UP. HHOOORRRAAAYYYY!!!!!!! So providing you can get up to apply the gel to the area where you do not want the birds to be, all you then need to do it apply the gel with a mastic gun after pulling the very top of the tube off, cutting the end of the tube and using a long implement to pierce the sealed end in the tube. I would recommend this product should you need to as we did to remove them from our house these pests.

I had once chance while my scaffolding was up to get up to the roof to deploy the tube, I waited and waited until all the building work had been done, the scaffolding was coming down the next day. I put the tube in my brand new gun snipped off the top as per instructions, tried to squeeze a bit out to get it primed and nothin was coming out, what I didn’t realise is that it was coming out just not from the right end it was coming out from the plunger end. It has ruined my gun and any chance I did have of deploying this rubbish has now gone out the window. I should be asking for compensation, this family of birds has been antagonising me for years I managed to get one of them now his mates keep coming back, from 4 in the morning they sit outside my window and tweet their nasty little screech and I was so looking forward to having some peace this was my last hope and it had been destroyed because of a faulty tube which I imagine was blocked further down the mob so when I squirted it it all came out the wrong end. I am not happy and wish I could get more that a refund like a working tube for free so I could enter it in one of the sellers orifices for getting my hopes up and then smashing them with no care about my health and well being. Do not buy!

Does the job and keeps gulls away.

We had a big pigeon problem with half a dozen of them sitting on top of the kids trampoline. I love birds but not their poop! Had to clean the trampoline almost daily to allow the kids to play! Didn’t want to get anything for the garden that made a noise as we have a hedge full of smaller birds that are no hassle at all that we didn’t want to scare off. Since using this gel we haven’t seen a pigeon near the garden! Absolute game changer for our family! No more pigeon poop!!

Very difficult to use and to open. Have only just used it (with help from neighbour) so I don’t know how effective it is. If it is good -and we are being plagued by pigeons - the difficulty in opening the product and administering it would put me off re-ordering.

I was a bit hesitant buying this as its quite expensive, but i have tried other things on my fence to stop pigeons landing on it, its the mess they make when sat on the fence. i put a bead right along the top of the fence, since its been on hardly any sit on it now, i would definitely recommend this product, even if i have to put it on once a year its worth it

I don’t let je to dirty everything

The product is difficult to apply, especially in hard to reach areas (e.g. under windowsills, drainage pipes, etc). Product comes out slowly, it's thick, sticky and messy. Once it gets going, it flows slowly and continuously, so it's hard to stop. It also didn't work- pigeons ignore it and walk right over it. Now it's a sticky messy full of feathers and the pigeons are still around.

It works. I had sparrows that were too small for the bird spikes to be effective and they were pooping in certain spots where they were constantly landing. Applied a modest amount in those spots and they’re gone! I was sure not to spread too thick as other reviews said small birds get stuck if it’s too thick. Some reviews say it’s hard to use and too sticky/messy etc so I planned for this. Instead of applying with a caulking gun, I squeezed some onto a disposable plate. I then wore gloves and used a disposable knife to spread it on like honey. Then three everything out at the end, no mess! I can see that I’ll have to reapply soon - after a couple months the goo has collected a fair bit of dust so soon it will be ineffective no doubt.

OH MY GOSH...it actually works!!!! I am SOO HAPPY to be able to say that this works!!!! For 3 years now we have been dealing with birds living under our large awning on our back porch. In other words, our beautifully freshly painted deck looks like a white war zone. Ugh, it's awful! Literally...the whole deck would be covered and bird droppings and it is not the easiest stuff to clean off of wood! The birds swarm under there when it is raining and we typically get 1-2 birds nest in the corners, every year... it is a constant battle with these birds!! Before applying this, I made sure nothing was in the existing birds nest (and there wasn't) and I went crazy applying this to the beams where the birds always gather. It has rained several times since doing so and I am soooo happy to say that we don't have a drop of bird droppings on our deck!!! I was weary but because of such great reviews and such great pricing, I had to give it a try. It was very easy to apply. I would just warn others to be very careful when applying! The gel is extremely sticky and it does not harden...the consistency stays gooey. We dropped a little on our deck and I don't know why but we just assumed it would harden... the next day we realized it does not harden so when we cleaned it up, it just smeared everywhere and left a sticky spot on our deck. Luckily it wasn't anything that a little goo gone couldn't handle! We now have a clean deck and no birds in sight! I would absolutely recommend this product and I would definitely buy more in the future if needed. This stuff really works!

Not working just Wasting time 👎🏻

When it rained the product ran, ruined so many glass panels, absolutely nightmare to get off. Never Never recommend

I put this product where I was trying to discourage robins from nesting on my front porch light. The product is so sticky that the birds wings and legs get stuck to their body so they no longer can fly and they will just die on the ground in a few days. I did not want to cause harm to the birds but this stuff glues their legs to their body as well as their wings if they get it on them. I cleaned up the product the best that I could and threw the rest away. It was sad to see what this did to the poor birds. Use something reflective instead that won’t harm these small creatures.
