Da'Dude Da'Wax 100ml – Strong Hold Matte Hair Wax for Men – Beeswax & Carnauba Formula – No Silicones, Parabens or Sulphates – Bamboo Tub

I have being using this product for about a week now and so far, I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. My thought prior to buying this product was that it seemed a lot of money compared to some high street products. It did appear to be packaged nicely from the pictures but the reality is, it's the product inside that counts. The previous reviews seemed very positive, so I went for it and ordered a pot through Amazon Prime. The package turned up on time and on opening it I can tell you that the packaging is as good as it looks. The hessian bag and bamboo container look very smart and ooze quality. It also comes with a little instruction fold which reinforces that only a tiny amount is required and this was followed up by an email from the company with an attached pdf again saying that you should only use a tiny amount. I get the feeling they're trying to tell me something? On opening the product container there is a very satisfying wood on wood sound that continues the luxury feel to this product (I know a bit OCD). The product itself is a white paste with a very attractive smell, it's not that strong (it won't overpower your cologne) but I'm sure if someone got up close and personal they would detect it. Its very sticky to the touch and the tiny bit recommended didn't seem to spread very far as I rubbed it between my palms. I can see that at this stage it might be tempting to add a little more to make it easier to spread between your palms but resist! Don't do it! Remember the instructions. I waited till the next morning before using Da Wax and showered and washed my hair with shampoo (just head and shoulders, nothing special) I towel dried my hair. I suppose I should mention my hair type at this point, it's short, straight and quite fine and has a tendency to get greasy if not washed every day. So having towel dried my hair it was damp but not wet, I took a tiny amount and rubbed it quickly between my palms but also up through the base of my fingers (important detail). I then used both hands like giant afro combs and starting at the back of my hair combed my hair forward and up and then from the front backwards and up. This is where the product trapped between your fingers comes into contact with your hair. Immediately I used my hands to shape my hair into what is actually only a side-parting and that's it done. Now reading this you might be thinking that it took a long time but my guess is less than 5 seconds from having a dot of Da Wax on my finger, to completion. I have repeated this procedure for a week now with identical good results. Appearance-wise the product seems invisible on my hair and the only reason I know it's there is if I touch my hair, I can feel it. It also doesn't move for the whole of my day in the office. Is it worth it? Well after a week I am still using some of the product that's stuck to the inside of the lid and haven't actually started on the main product in the jar, so my guess is that using it 6 days a week it will probably last me a year. In my book that makes it good value. Does it do what they claim? Yes it's very strong which is why you really must use the tiniest amount Would I buy it again? Absolutely, for me it does what I want it to and I won't even have to think about buying it again till this time next year. Am I anything to do with the company? No, I paid for this with my hard earned cash. In fact before last week I hadn't even heard of the product. I've written a really positive review because, for me, it's a really good product.

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and there is no doubting how good this product is. I have used American Crew Fiber and hairspray to style my hair for the past few years and have always been on the lookout for a product that can make my hair look great, without the need for hairspray to hold my hair in place. But now I have finally found the Holy Grail of hair styling products. Here's why I feel that Da'Wax deserves 5 stars: 1) American Crew Fiber may be less than half the price of Da'Dude's Da'Wax, but now I only need to use half the amount of hair wax that I used to use each time I style my hair AND I no longer require hairspray to hold my hair in place. There is no denying that Da'Wax is an expensive product, but I am now actually saving money on hair products by using less wax and by avoiding the need to purchase hairspray. 2) On a similar note, I suffer from having oily skin, especially on my forehead. It's likely that using hairspray has been a contributing factor to this, but now I feel so much better not having to use hairspray, and therefore not having the oily film that hairspray produces on your hair and skin. 3) I have very straight, short hair of around 1" in length, which doubles to around 2" before I have it cut. I am able to create a great matte, textured hairstyle with Da'Wax which lasts throughout the day. Da'Wax is a strong wax, but by using small quantities of wax each time, there is plenty of opportunity to mould your hair into your desired look. The smell is great too. 4) It's obvious that a lot has gone into the design and manufacture of this product. While I do not necessarily pay too much attention to the packaging that my hair wax comes in, the bamboo tub that Da'Wax comes in is a really nice quality touch. It has been very easy giving this product 5 stars. Fantastic product.

Bonjour, Points positifs : Adapté au cheveux fins, effet naturel, petit effet volume si appliqué correctement et doucement, économique, non gras, fixation au top, bonne odeur (pas trop forte mais qui se sent) pas de traces blanches, remodelable en humidifiant légèrement les mains avant de repasser dans les cheveux si le premier modelage ne convient pas, application facile à condition de ne pas en mettre trop ! Tiens bien toute la journée. Depuis que je l'utilise je n'ai pas constaté une dégradation de la santé de mes cheveux, ni ressenti de picotements, démangeaisons ou autres effets rebutants. Lavage des mains et des cheveux très facile ! juste de l'eau et ça part très facilement et sans traces ! beau packaging, vendeur à l'écoute très sympathique et bon suivis. Point moins bons à préciser : application qui ne donne pas droit à l'erreur ! Faut y aller doucement et surtout ne pas en mettre trop ! Quand c'est passé sur les cheveux ça fixe ! Et pas d'autre choix que d'humidifier les mains pour retravailler le style de coiffure ! Comparé à la Deviation Paste de chez l'Oréal elle ne donne pas autant de temps pour "travailler" le style ! Mais cette dernière laisse des traces blanches et colle les cheveux et donc moins naturel que la Da Dude ! Je regrette aussi que cette belle boîte de soit pas rechargeable ! En effet ça fait peine de la jeter une fois finie tellement elle est jolie ! Mais avec le peu qu'il faut en mettre je vais garder la boîte très très longtemps (j'estime à au moins 6 mois de quoi en profiter longtemps) alors qu'avec d'autres pâte 2 à 3 mois la boite est vide ! Et c'est tout dans les points "négatifs" qui n'en sont pas car c'est juste une façon de faire, d'apprivoiser un excellent produit ! En résumé, je l'ai dompté, adopté et je la trouve top ! Ma préférée du moment ! (j'ai les cheveux moyen courts, fins, avec des épis (cauchemars des coiffeurs) coiffés en déstructuré, courts sur les cotés et moyen longs sur le dessus) n'hésitez pas à contacter Da Dude si vous avez des remarques et même des problèmes à l'application, ils vous répondront très vite et très bien ! A noter que vous avez un dépliant super bien fait et sympa pour vous aider à l'utiliser au mieux... Je trouve le produit excellent ! Bien mieux que d'autres que j'ai essayé (Au moins 15) elle a détrônée la deviation paste de l'oréal (pot blanc, couvercle bleu) que j'ai utilisé jusqu'à ce jour ! Et bien mieux que la Wella Grip cream, la pocker paste etc.. la liste serait trop longue et se résume donc à ESSAYEZ la Da Dude Da'Wax ! Merci de m'avoir lu.

So I've known of this wax for a while but never tried it.. I guess I was missing out LOL I've tried so many waxes, pomades, clays.. All very high-end brands, homebrewed, etc.. I like products with good ingredients. This is one of them. I have medium thick hair so.. it's not too thick but not too fine either. I am using Jack Henry clay at the moment, also, Church California Sunwax pomade and the Kevin Murphy Night Rider. They're all awesome products. The strongest holding so far was the Kevin Murphy night rider. It really locks in your style and holds very well. This Da'wax feels even stronger.. Which is insane LOL I used such a tiny lick of this product that it's almost laughable... And that was enough to style my hair. I even fell asleep on the couch, woke up, and it looked the same. It's a superb product. Honestly. It's a real pleasure to work with it. Feels sticky when you emulsify on your fingers but it goes in your hair super easily. It's an instant styler.. Like.. It's super responsive to where you'll be done styling your hair in 30 seconds! Literally LOL I absolutely LOVE this subtle but complex Aqua-Fresh scent. It's so good! Very subtle and it goes away quickly. I'd wear it as a cologne that's how good that is. Washout is a breeze also. Super easy to wash it out of your hair. Truly an "insanely awesome" product. I wish I had tried this sooner but, better later than never right? It's the same price as the Kevin Murphy Night Rider, and you get the same amount. Both are very nice products but this one is definitely stronger and even a little easier to style with. It isn't cheap, but man, with the tiny amount you need, this will last you a really long time, and you get a super high quality product.

First of all I would like to say that everyone is different, and even though it doesn't look too good on me, try it for yourself if you think that it will work for you. Now I'll try to explain the 2 stars that I left. I've bought this wax twice, and the first time it was very good, which is why I bought it for the second time. It used to actually be matte, and used to hold for a long time, even when windy. The second time I bought it, which was a couple of months ago, the wax was clearly different. My hair looks much darker, and honestly the hold isn't that great. Any wind pretty much messes up my whole style, and I have to use my hands to style my hair again, which obviously isn't the best thing. I would also like to say that my hair is blonde, so if the product isn't very matte, my hair looks wet/greasy. At its current state, the wax is definitely not worth the price. It was already quite a lot, but I was willing to pay for it, as it was actually good, and did what it described, but now there is no way it's worth the money.
