My daughter found this and bought one, and I was so impressed I got one too - since then son no 2 has one and another couple of freinds. Its idiot proof, simply mix a couple of eggs, little salt and pepper and whack in for 6-8 mins and thats it. No need for oil or fat though you can add a little butter for flavour is you want. To the basic I've added combos of herbs ( basil, chives, parsley, oregano,thyme ) cheese, ham, tomatoes, mushrooms, potatoes (best pre-cooked) peppers etc Two lge, 3 med eggs fills both sides leaving a lovely fluffy omelette, and the pan just needs a quick wipe out to clean. Add a little salad and hey presto, quick supper. I've also tried cooking pancakes, I added walnuts and maple syrup, and they worked well, though I made my mix a bit too thick. You could use it for other things too - roasted veg, poached eggs, use a little water and drop eggs in whole. Its a great little device for a tiny cost. Was a tenner when I bought back in Aug - not checked price today My kettle died at the time I ordered this and I found a cheap one, didn't realise it was the same make as this, so matches well, and works fine for the price. Certainly a cheap but effective brand.

Arrived the very next day in a nice small box! For such a neat, small gadget, I've never been so overwhelmed with the result! I absolutely love it. Product is easy to figure out, easy to use. Heats up nice and quickly - if you've ever had a George Foreman you will easily recognise the distinct but subtle click when the 'heating up' indicator goes out for you to start cooking! *Little tip* definitely prep your eggs/egg whites and the fillings before you turn it on to heat as it is very quick. Cleaning is very easy, non stick is very good (I forgot that i had not used any of my zero cal cooking spray and not only did it clean fine but the omelette quality didn't diminish). Personally i think it gives the best even results if you put a small amount of egg in the trays and then your filling and then top with more whisked up egg for a controlled distribution of multiple fillings) but makes perfect fluffy omelettes every time. I have used this every day since it arrived almost 2 weeks ago. Perfect way to introduce something healthy and easy into your busy morning routine and best £12 I've ever spent!

One of nest purchases use it daily. Quick an easy and ready at the same time as your coffee and toast. Oven cooked bacon on the opposite side.

This makes a nice omelette. Deep enough to add a fare bit of filling. Room for sliced mushrooms, mixed peppers and chicken. One of my favourites. They are a bit small so I make two. If you want to just make the one thats fine also. Now the negative. It is not non stick even though it states it is. I have now cooked a few omelettes and all of them have stuck to the plates. I bought some spray, not that I should have done if it was non stick but that didn't work either. Thankfully it is easy to clean.

This was actually given to me as a gift, I wouldn't have thought of it before, now I wouldn't be without it. I've used it a lot since I've had it, not just for omelets, but scrambled and fried eggs to. Just lift the lid now and again and whisk the up with plastic fork until you get them how you want them. For fried eggs I add a little oil and using a plastic spoon to cover the top side till done. I've also cooked bubble and squeak in it and it's turned out great. As i'm only cooking for me and sometimes would only use one side, I've decided to use the other side for other things that I can reheat in the microwave or freeze for later. This seems to make the machines heat distribution more efficient than when just using oneside as well as making it more cost affective. I noticed some reviewers saying it's not non-stick, sorry but I disagree. I washed it out before first use, as I do with all new appliances and pans, whether non-stick or not. Then I "prime" the non-stick with a little butter or oil and rub it into the surface, leave it for about 5mins and wipe off any surplus. With all the things I have cooked in this nothing has ever stuck whether I have used a little oil or not. After use I simply wipe with a soft soapy sponge and dry with kitchen towel so it's ready for the next time. Looking at their pictures it seems to me they either overfilled, let it burn or both. I've had no problems. I'd recommend this item to anyone, especially if you are cooking for one. It's easy to use and can cook up a quick snack or part of a larger meal. Easy to clean and takes up little space when not in use.
